The difference is that we no longer are scared. It’s good to cry, to suffer loss or grief, as long as there’s no fear mixed into it. You suffer loss, because you love someone. It’s a part of life, an expression of love. ❤ Pain is one of the beautiful experiences in life. You wouldn’t want to become emotionally numb. And after enlightenment, you’re overwhelmed with gratitude, love, happiness, joy, many times each day. It feels like the heart must burst. ♥️😅 Because you see things for what they truly are, you appreciate the painful moments too. You enjoy every aspect of life .

There are still moments of suffering for me. Not only co-suffering. But due to the strange discontinuity of thought, it usually vanishes. Often mid-sentence. But there are also times, like longer periods, maybe even a day, until I naturally breath deeply and release. When that happens it feels so great and I'm happy and ridicule myself regarding my "progress" in spirituality. It's also interesting, that these periods of not being in the moment and then coming back reminds me of that experience. It's like hearing a joke you already know, but the joketeller is so engaging that you don't think about the punchline anymore and it makes you laugh again. So I think it's great to be reminded by Masters like Thich Nhat Hanh to actively breath deeply. I feel actively discontinuing thought is so important and enjoyable. But I also feel like believing in thought for some time, and then coming out of it, is really nice. And funny. A lot of masters say that these periods will be shortened. But will I miss taking it seriously? Maybe I cured myself with this post and go full throttle into maya again. I'm not done. I have extremely important things to do here, ok? See you guys~ ^^

After enlightenment there is still suffering, but noone experiences it. There is just an awareness of it without the me who is suffering it.

As Samma-Sambodhi or Samma-Sambudha... you are right about how one would help. But we are creating pain and we are sharing it. People are afraid ti be Dao... the mindset of false persona is suffering. Not well trained mind and spirit is suffering. My teachings are to irradiated pain. No guru can do it for you. Now I can see had someone been arhant, or Brahman. Who has been in 12th or 13th janna. Gone gone, ill be gone, like water in the air and air into ether... But with all respect, you sir are still afraid to be nothing and reside in that field. Supreme blessings, peace, love, happiness, beatitude, joyfulness Supreme blisfullness!

I would imagine that a Buddha is aware of suffering, but does not self identify with it, it's not his suffering, it's just suffering. A Buddha is probably aware of everyone suffering, which is not something most people could handle.

For a Worthy One, Arahat, no new life is formed after his death-consciousness. There is now a complete severance of the cord of existence which signifies annihilation in sight of Nibbāna. In Nibbāna, the round of suffering comes to a peaceful end. Hence cessation of suffering is Nibbāna. In other words, when the Path of an Arahat is reached, the round of suffering ceases. Nibbāna is, therefore, peace established with the annihilation of suffering. THE NATURE OF NIBBĀNA by THE VENERABLE MAHASĪ SAYĀDAW

Basis of Budhism is reincarnation and law of karma . The necessity of Budhism is impermanence sufferings and concept of no soul .Budhism guides us to stay in human world and heavens until final stage is attained 🙏🙏🙏

If I died physically immediately after becoming enlightened would my enlightenment be of any benefit to anybody but me?

This was not a good explanation! You are confusing people! Ego? Self? Etheric? Astral? Atman? Who suffers???

It has hard to use words and not be used by them. I think he's clearly saying that post enlightenment (an equally vexed expression!), there is no suffering on the one hand, and on the other, there is. "It's different", he says. This concurs with my (?!) experience too - if you (?!) will be so kind as to allow me to use such an expression for the purpose of communication and hear me sympathetically and with charity.
