If you want for cheaper and better paint quality, you can buy a compressor and paint gun at harbor freight. That should cost about $250 - $300. The rest you can spend on the supplies needed to paint the car. That's what I did for my Integra and with the compressor and gun, all I need to do from now on is just buy paint.

No that paint job is not worth it. You honestly destroyed the car. The paint will peel and fad in 1-2 years. When that happens you will have double the work to repaint the car. Definitely ya make enough money to get a good paint job. He going to love the car for now and later we will be sad about it.

You should get it ceramic coated or something. They probably used a two in one color with clear so there isnt a true clear and it will be more likely to flake especially if it gets hit

$850 isn’t bad cuz you did all the prep most of a paint jobs price is because they have to prep it as well. All they have to do is disassemble spray and reassemble .

Not bad for the price a days worth of correction and detail will make it look like a couple grand paint job. I would not be mad at a paint job like that
