Well done Dan👍🏼 Quick question Mark, which do you prefer, your Atom or your Moster? I've just replaced my Atom with a Moster, but struggling to deal with the significant right torque on launch. Wondering if I'm going to regret the move.

It really depends on your flying style. I prefer the Atom but keep the Moster for those days when I want power to go high up or as a backup machine for when the Atom is undergoing maintenance. dan. what size wing has he? whats dans all up weight? whats the total weight of all he fuel he is carrying? how many litres of fuel was dan carrying in total?

You can link it to an app on your phone, you don't need much else, have a google and look at the website it's pretty basic, but I'm not keen on it.

That launch was smooth considering the amount of fuel he was carrying! Curious why he didn't go with a lager wing? Also, not positive but I'm pretty sure and FAI observer has to be present for these types of records to be certified.

I think he just used the wing he had. Evidence is strong for the flight, hopefully FAI will certify it but you may be right, an observer may need to be present.

Just using what I've got but it's also to increase overall speed, I'd rather sit for 8 than 10 hours

Forgive me for being negative but I just kind of was wondering. Is there some sort of exception for being able to carry that much fuel and still be considered an ultralight. Is that just because he's trying to break the record? because otherwise he's flying illegal?

@@davidtalbott1503 different county, different rules. But you’ll even see the cross country guys here in the states doing the same thing. Bit of a “grey area” given the additional fuel is in a separate container from the factory tank I believe.

For official FAI records you wouldn't be able to do that unfortunately but would be insane!
