It’s saddening to me to see these things going on… I came to Ghana in May 2002 when I got married and begged my husband at the time to please let us stay there! We are no longer married but him and his family are my family! I love Ghana.., yes there are issues but that's here in the States as well… as an African American when I do come there I want to bring my knowledge and skills to help build and be of value. Ghana is my children's legacy.

In my view Influencers regardless of where they are from have a responsibility to be balanced and informative. I have friends who live in Ghana that repatriated and they have had great testimonials of their experiences. Everywhere has it's own challenges including the UK that is why I left and chose to live in Africa. The best decision that I ever made.

Those going back to Ghana or anywhere in Africa must do their due diligence. Research, research, research! Food prices, house prices, crime, utilities costs, buying land legally with enough space to grow vegetables etc, best (legal) organisations, land boundaries to avoid disputes, businesses set up and monies required, bringing ideas from UK / US, understanding the culture around you. You don't just turn up at someone's doorstep and get upset when things go wrong.

He has been doing negative you tube videos since his first travel to Ghana. In his first video he said he was never going to do business or invest in Ghana, but he ended up buying an apartment in Accra thinking he can flip it and make huge profit within a short time

What do you think of the Issues he talks about? Some of the Issues are real problems we often encounter in Ghana and other african countries. What exactly did GoBlackt2Africa say that you take issue with? Slandering a person without context is petty. He does critique the African continent a lot, however it always seems to be challenging the status quo (gov't and political leaders) to be better with protecting and selling it's natural resources to bring the continent out of the 3rd world situation it's in. Most young Africans are saying the same thing, there are a few jobs and too much bribery. Recently, you posted a video explaining that property sellers need to have all of their paperwork in order to sale their land because it's different than 5 years ago. Africa's real estate market is selling at an all time high because the diaspora is coming back to the Continent. Everyone should learn to take critique to become better, because that prospect can lifts Africa up for all our sake. Pitting Africans against Black Americans/Europeans will result in tribalism and more attacks which will hurt both group of people. First Kenya and now Ghana are being divisive ? Let's pray not...

I never said that the diaspora purchase most of the property. I said the cost or property has increase exponentially partially due to the diaspora buying power. Anyone that settles into a country and makes a large investment into that country should bear the responsibility to try, to make the country better. @@okey9236 I received ur comment in my email, it’s not here tho. Is “this” African Americans trying to destroy Ghana🙄…..some of u are very ignorant. Did u know since “The Year Of Return” African Americans have contributed BILLIONS of dollars to YOUR economy, just imagine what we could do in 20 years. But don’t worry after her video goes viral there will be way less African Americans coming there, I’m one of them and I’ve seen other comments saying so.
