People with nice reels shouldnt skimp on the line. My buddy gave me a giant spool of this I believe. I gave it to another buddy. Its like modern day dacron. Not a lot of coating or tightness to the weave. Id expect it to wear out faster and take more damage then heavily coated tightly weaved lines. You over filled it pretty good but based on the numbers it seems about 20 percent thicker then the high end braids.

That's Albert. Always makes it right. Nobody will download a spool of line because its a disaster waiting to happen and then spools the real. This is how customers for life are made.

If you ever run into the loose line issue again and have to spool it to another spool I suggest using a cheap sewing machine thread tensioner. It's basically 2 bowl shaped washers with a spring and a nut to tighten the tension. I bet it would save you from braid burn. But on another note that braid seems like something I wouldn't touch.

I’m new to using braid. This really helps because I did not know that braid would possibly snap if it’s not tight to the reel. I have had it happen a few times and I did not know why..

That and also too uf your braid is slipping on your spool it can also hurt you as well.

I've been skeptical about that braid.. the spool should be tight and packed with braid. Probably not an accurate amount of braid on the spool either being loose like that.

From their original spool we don't know because it was loose we were only able to move it over and then put the line counter in only what we were able to spool onto the reel.. so yes big questions left unanswered

Extra cost for the customer to have to go to different shops and having to pay for down spooling could have gotten more yardage using a hollow core for maybe much less money now with the price of gas alone... I bought cortland braid and I had over 10 break offs I was told over the phone that the lune broke because of backlash. I have never backlash the line. Losing fish and leaders during tournaments live is not good.

I have 4 spools of this braid in my possession right now and not one of them is spooled like that. This 100% has been tampered with. Been using this line for 2 years haven't seen any of the issues u speak of

To reply the spool has been tampered with is a very strong allegation... and we personally we judge every piece of material that comes to our shop our of respect for our customer who is the end user of our service to them... So if I don't tell them nothin is wrong they will think nothing is .. and when it does come to pass something doesn't work or breaks down and we didn't do our job then it falls back on us..

For me as I have fished with the few of them I can't see the price difference as a helpful thing they cost more for one... and is to the magnetic control with Avet reels is a second to none especially when accurate does not have them and then 3 the cranking abilities of the avets has been great when pulling in dead weight and fish don't stand a chance....

Now this was just us there's other people on the other end of the spectrum that don't mind paying more for the rills cause they feel they work better however for me I started from cheaper reals moving up solely and then got lucky with guys that had the more expensive rills to allow me to use them and yeah it was a real night and day for me and I was on Fishing with them and also too I felt like I got more Bang for my buck by purchasing avet reels
