Is this "As Seen On TV" Foundation LEGIT??!! Testing Jerome Alexander Airbrush Foundation!

Today I am reviewing the Jerome Alexander Airbrush Foundation. It’s been a while since I’ve used a “spray” type foundation, and seeing as the Dior Airflash Foundation has been discontinued, I thought this might be a good time to test this one out. Have you tried this one yet? Let me know what you think in the comments below!
*Note: this foundation is actually a better shade match for me when slightly self-tanned. I’m planning to purchase the next lightest shade for (hopefully) the most accurate match to my non-self-tanned skin. ☺️

Cut a hold in the bottom of the cup the size of the brush handle and push the brush down in it. Then you can spray the brush and still catch the over spray.

Thank you so much Carrie! 🤗 I still walk past it in Walgreens sometimes, and think, I can't believe this As Seen On TV product is SO GOOD! 😍 (Oh, and just a friendly tip if you decide to try it... make sure if you have pale skin like I do, that you order it online from their site or Amazon, as the one they carry in Walgreens is typically shade "medium," but they offer a lot of shades online! ❤️) I hope you are having a fabulous week! As I watched this video, I'm thinking to myself, "No *way* that foundation looks that good!" but it surely did! I walked by it SO many times in Walgreens and thought, I should try this one, if it's bad, at least it'll make for an (awkwardly) funny video, but then surprise surprise... I ended up loving it! Back in the day, I ordered a makeup set from tv. It was called “Sheer Cover.” It was SO EXPENSIVE, especially for then- over $100. And it was crap! 😆 Glad you picked a good one!

I have been decluttering and just found a bunch of unopened Sheer Cover makeup. I think when I bought it, they were running special BOGO offer. There’s more than any one person could ever use! I looked on EBAY to see if it might be worth selling. I found some for sale, and at quite a hefty price! I actually liked it at the time I bought it, but I tried some of it again, as my skin has become more mature, and it looked awwwwwful - SCARY awful!

OMG I remember the sheer cover infomercials!! (with Leeza Gibbons??) I think that's why I was so hesitant to purchase this one.... I didn't try Sheer Cover back in the day, but I certainly got sucked in to some informercials that overpromised and under-delivered for sure! It's was so easy to do! ❤️

Loved the review! Jerome Alexander used to be on home shopping channel and he had this powder I got sucked into buying. It was actually very good ! …a color correcting pressed powder with different colored pigments for brightening. That was years ago but I remember I liked it!

That's so interesting! It sound almost like the Guerlain Powder that has the different colored pigments in it (but at a much better price point I'm sure! ❤️) I was so shocked by this foundation, and now I want to try more of his stuff! Awwww your daughter and Norm are soooo adorable! ❤️💕 love it! I also love this foundation on you! It looks beautiful and stayed looking gorgeous throughout the day. I haven’t seen it here or heard of it, but I’m going to look for it to try it out. The fact that it got lighter on you as it dried down has me intrigued. That really is pretty. What a surprise! Thanks for taking the plunge and trying it out for all of us! Next, try running this foundation through the Vidalia Chop Wizard before applying!! Or after! Or during! ………You never know till you “Chop Like A Wizard!” Btw, thank you for letting me know that the Salt NY was on clearance. I ordered a bunch of it but I haven’t cracked it open yet. I’m waiting for the perfect moment. I have enjoyed being in dialogue with you very much, and I appreciate your replies. I took longer to respond to you than I would have liked. I have been *MIA (Makeup In Absentia?) due to being deeply immersed in a whole-house massive decluttering/reorganizing/renewal renaissance. Hello friend!! First of all, seeing your little girl loving on Norm made my week!!! Secondly, I'm glad you picked this up to try. It really looked SO GOOD on your skin. Plus the container can be recycled. I'm curious if it sprayed any spots around when spraying it on the brush? I also LOVE the Incognito concealer. I keep a tube in my purse to cover dark circles while in the car (my husband would be driving) when I leave the house without makeup!!❤‍🩹❤❤

Hi dear Patti! 🤗❤️ I'm so glad you liked the clip of my little ones! 🥰 I caught that sweet moment on camera and just couldn't resist sharing! As far as the foundation goes, I was so pleasantly surprised by this one! It was such a gem (and you're right, the container can be recycled so that's another great quality about it!) When you were asking if it sprayed any spots around, were you wondering if the extra "spray" got on anything around my area? (like my makeup vanity?) If so, it really didn't mess up anything else (luckily!) On camera it definitely looks like it's spraying a whole lot around me (in addition to the brush) but when I cleaned up after, I didn't have any extra foundation that "fell" anywhere on my table (if that helps.) I think the over-spray also got picked up a bit more (on camera) from my bright ring-light I use to film with, so it didn't seem quite as bad (in person) as it looked on camera. And as far as the Incognito concealer goes... I'm trying to remember... but I think it might've been you who told me about it! 🥰 And I'm so glad you did! It's fantastic! ❤️ (and thank you for letting me know that you don't put it on WHILE driving! 😂 I would've been so worried to think you had one hand on the wheel and one on your concealer! ❤️) Sending you wishes for a very happy weekend my friend! ❤️🤗

Image how the bathroom would look after using this foundation! 😢 It does look pretty, and it was a fun video, but no way I would ever use a spray over a liquid foundation, just because of the mess I would make.

I actually have several of these, but did find myself struggling with the shades, as I'm VERY pale, but not the palest of all pale people. I'm cool/neutral, and I actually have like Fair and Light in the canned versions from Amazon, but the color on the bottom of them is exactly the same looking to me, and there's no color listed on the can. Poor design. Maybe it's improved since I bought them. I initially tried their mineral foundation powder. I actually had to buy medium, but it worked, and even though it wasn't super full coverage, it did a good job, and also wasn't so dark I looked strange; it's fairly sheer as well. There's color correcting pigments in them anyway also. I think I'll pull mine out again tomorrow. I'm swimming, literally, in all kinds of foundations; could probably do a different one every day of the freaking year. That's stupid, I do realize this. :) This is pretty recent, so thanks!

You're not supposed to spray it straight on your face?

GREAT question!! ❤️ You absolutely CAN spray this straight on your face, unfortunately though, most spray foundations that come in a can like this (versus airbrush "machine" foundations) have a wider "spraying area." The airbrush machines put out a finer spray of foundation, so you can get in really close to your face and apply a finer mist at one time. If you choose to apply a foundation like this one by spraying directly on your face, I highly suggest putting your hair up in a towel, and make sure your either not wearing clothes at the moment, or are wearing clothes you don't mind, getting foundation on. Also, you might have to go back very quickly and wipe the foundation off of your eyebrows and eyelashes, as the foundation will get on them as well. @belindafischer2920 There was definitely a little cloud of "over-spray" around me when I was applying it, right? 😂 I did notice happen to notice though, when I was editing the video that it looked a lot worse on camera then it did in person when I was spraying.... so I'm wondering if the bright ring-light I film with reflected every tiny little particle? It'll be interesting to see how long it lasts though! ❤️

@CandidLy1 I'm so glad I saw @makeupByAlli using the cup technique! she used a little Dixie cup and didn't have quite as much spray-back as I did with my big Solo cup, so I might have to try one of the Dixie cups next time! 🥰❤️🤗
