Downside to cat team clutch is it is not rebuildable. No parts available Rode cat for years love them. I now have a wildcat xx with the same team setup. Rollers are wore out. Oops you need to buy a 1000 clutch instead of 100 set of rollers. Nobody has a vice to hold them to repair them. Same problem with my wildcat 700. You can rebuild a Polaris team clutch including the roller bearing done it Sorry for the rant just pissed off Been rebuilding clutch’s since 1970
Great vid. I have 2010 snow pro 500 with same clutch. Wide open I am only getting 7400rpm and use to get 7800-7900 rpm. Motor seems strong and not bogging or hesitating at wide open or at anytime. Sled still rips 0-60 mph. Any ides what in clutch would cause this problem. Sled has 3000 miles on it all stock.
I know with the older primary clutches I would wash them in the dishwasher every once in a while, when the wife was out shopping. Is it ok to wash these Team Primary clutches with the roller bearing, in the dishwasher? I was originally thinking no, but since I saw you used brake cleaner on the bearing, maybe its ok to?
Only way to clean it properly is to break clutch’s apart and remove bearing , clean it good and re-install , but if you just blew it out real good once in awhile , it will last alot longer ! And NO lube ! Lube attracts belt dust !!
