I think there might be chance that Vince will change the release date of Chapter 5 to Q1 of 2025 for making sure to perfect the whole thing of Chapter 5 of making it better than ever before but I’m saying that Chapter 5 is gonna release in this December of this year if it still doesn’t seem very likely to release at that time then maybe early next year.

Dark Deception Chapter 1 came out in September 2018. It was shortly after I graduated from High School. Since then I ... - started college - moved out from my parents house - finished bachelors degree - started masters degree and I'm almost done with it as well - was in a student club for 4 years - made my drivers licence - started a job - had a 3 year long relationship - became an uncle - traveled through half of Europe - lived through a whole pandemic And we still don't have a release date for Chapter 5. While the first 3 Chapters had a good release pace, everything went slow afterwards. Vince should've finished the main game first before starting to work on the DLC's.

@@ShadowSSYT Vince said once that he is going to make a Dark Deception trilogy. I'm in my late 20s right now. If this release pacing keeps up, I will be 60 by the time the trilogy will be complete.

@@Joeylikesgames-ku9mx I wish it was a joke but I did the math. Dark Deception 2 and 3 will propably also have 5 chapters each. If Chapter 5 comes out in 2025 and then we will get a new chapter every 3 years, the trilogy will be complete in 2055. I will be almost 60 years old in that year.

I don't think Chapter 5 will be released this year because they need to finish not only Chapter 5, but also its counterpart in Super Dark Deception, as well as the console ports for both projects, in order for their releases to be synchronized. They'll most likely spend the remainder of the year focusing on Super Dark Deception Chapter 1-2 and the Coma 2 DLC, as I doubt they'll finish the Piggy-Doors DLC in time given how massive it is, with two maps and Coma's map still unfinished.

Also, I really hope Vince shows in-game footage of Chapter 5 at this year's Tokyo Game Show; he was clearly comfortable showing the zone of Holiday Horror last year, and this year's Tokyo Game Show is on the anniversary of Chapters 1 and 4, so it would be perfect to show some in-game teasers since we have few to none and by then it would've been three years since Chapter 4 and still no in-game footage.

Ima be real based on the claymation trailer they are probably already bouta get to work on super dark deception chapter 4. And the console ports are controlled by other people not them themselves. The other dlc things for monsters and mortals. Can I be honest, is just. Dumb in my opinion. Like Roblox doors? Seriously? But obviously they are gonna work on it no matter how many ppl say the same thing. That’s just my thought tho

@@MonstrumReborn Console ports are handled externally, yes, but you don't understand why I mentioned them. To make a console port of something, you must first have that something first. Chapter 5 and its Super Dark Deception equivalent must be completed before console ports can be worked on.

If I had to guess, I’d say it’ll release early next year. I’m going off of that SDD is meant to be 3 chapters + it was said chapter 2 is close behind ch 1. Both SDD and DD will get their chapter 5 levels at the same time, (chapter 3 for SDD) so if SDD chapter 2 comes out this year (like it’s implied) that probably means ch 5 is next year.
