I just bought this machine on Amazon and I also have a Big Shot die cutting machine. I have been struggling to find the correct thickness of shim. Your sandwich ideas were very helpful. Thanks!

It has been such good value for money. It works well (once you have the correct 'sandwich') and I love the foil look on my cards. I hope you get success with yours too
@@nonstoppapercrafts Yes once i got the right sandwich...I am happy with it. Gonna try different weight card stocks to foil on and try with foiling embossing folders and diecuts. lots of play.
I cannot find the exact kind of foil rolls on Amazon. I’m not sure what type of foil works with this machine. Could you let me know what brand of foil works best?
Any heat reactive foil should work (you don't want the ones that react with toner). I'm still working my way through the cheap ones I bought off Ali Express. The results have been great with those 👍🏻
Hi I wonder if you can help me I bought this foil machine. I have a Gemini ♊ the foil machine will not go through it. Which sizze did you use in the demonstration. I can either send the foil machine back or buy a sizze that your using. I am debating. Thank you in advance.
Hi, I have the Sizzix Big Shot and the Sizzix Big Shot Switch (electrical machine so no having to crank a handle). The foil machine fits in both of these. I hope that helps 😊
Has anybody tried this with a Cuttlebug? I’ve been looking at it on Aliexpress but I’ve just recently bought a Minc machine so I’d rather not throw more money away, even if it isn’t that expensive.
I just got my foiling machine today and it does work with the cuttlebug. I tried it tonight and it worked pretty good. I think I need to play around with the sandwich a bit.
