Missing a frugal trick boiling two pans of water for the veg and Spuds. I bought a 3 tier Steamer - Spuds in the water - all the veg in the steamers - works a treat and saves money!! Lone the vids by the way
Can see that this is a perfect working relationship that's stood the test of time...perfect back and forth banter and humour...all based around a desire to provide good, affordable food and cooking for the audience...(love this channel and you folks and the family...it's always a joy to watch...)
Just rushed To Lidl and bought all the ingredients 😂 sausage casserole it is tonight! Absolutely love your videos such an inspiration to cook! Don’t change guys keep doing what your doing ❤
Martin and Sharon are a blast to watch and the meals are looking fantastic, I got started with the air fryer meals and now I cant wait til the next one comes out
Haha Martin makes me laugh, it is all he says off camera as Sharon is working. Then the faces he pulls in rapture as he is eating the meal. Lol. These vlogs are so enjoyable. I thought that meal looked quite tasty, i love sausages so will try this.
Thanks Sharon, Martin, another great video. I’ll get my Slow Cooker out this weekend and give it a try. I’ll be “Going In” and might even have some music playing in the background. Quick tip, I picked up some Slow Cooker liners from Sainsburys and they really help with the clean up. They are basically large roasting bags that sit in the cooker pot and keep it clean, just be careful not to tear it when giving a stir. Thanks again and take care. (Lionel, Colchester)
Hi.When I do sausage casserole I mix a tin of hot dog sausages in with the sausages. I chop the sausage up but that is just my preference. Also put diced potatoes in slow cooker
Hiya i have the same butterdish, thefood looks lovely sharon you are a fantastic cook its lovely to see two smileing happy faces on the screen well done and please keep making videos best wishes from sue and vic in hull
My favourite recipe. Just got back from holiday and missing good home cooked food. So it's sausage & mash tonight for me, and you've convinced me to go Argos for a Slow cooker. Love you guys.
Can't remember the last time I had a sausage casserole but after this, its gonna be back on the menu. It will make a lovely cosy winters night nosh for sure mate. Thanks again for a video that put a smile on me face
May I just say I have never in my life and I am 69 seen two wonderful soul mates like you sharron & martin what a couple, what a family it just fills my heart with joy and happiness watching your videos you should have your own show on tv. I just recently found your channel and I straight away subscribed I can't get enough of you it's like a mini soap god bless you your family and friends and I wish you all the luck in the world.👍👏👏👏👏👏
for me it's your antics, very amusing! and the long suffering look on Sharron's face at times .... is truly priceless 🤣 and of course some good home cooking , you have got me looking for a ninja ............IM going in ...im going in for one 😂
Guys I have just bumped into your channel and really enjoying your content. Saving money and good traditional food that does not cost a fortune. I have a slow cooker so this is definitely on my lists of cheap and delicious food. I will get an air fryer when budget allows but unfortunately like many others trying to make ends meet is mission impossible but I will be trying some of your air fryer recipes when I get one. I am also using a small gas cooker that I use for fishing and is saving me a fortune. (Worked all my life and heading towards retirement you would think we would be comfortable but these times are killing us all). Keep up the great videos and advice and saving those precious pennies. It was only yesterday that husband said he fancied a sausage casserole, I have never fancied it myself, but heyho Butlersempire came up trumps, I am now planning one for tomorrow, plus the added attraction of mustard mash, another new to me creation, Bon appetite lovely Martin and Sharon❤
You two make me laugh. I'd love to come to yours for dinner ( I don't have a huge appetite so you wouldn't notice me lol) To be honest, I've learnt so much from you both regarding the air fryer. Thank you so much for sharing xx
I love your channel and your content I was wondering have you ever heard of Boston sausages so I was telling me about them but can’t find the violin anywhere keep up the good work
I just want to say that I love watching you two and your family 💖 .. I’ve done the sausage casserole today and added a bit of Bisto powder to thicken it up and give it extra flavour and colour. Thank you for entertaining us! Much love sent your way! Xx
Guys thankyou so much for making me smile 😃 for a short time. Who knew food could be so fun to watch love to see your videos coming. Keep the good work coming xx
Great video, looks delicious. Much more doable than the carryon from the likes of Saturday Kitchen, Jamie Oliver etc, and don't get me started on 'larks tongues in aspic' Nigella nonsense. Thanks for sharing and best wishes from Ireland. .
I cannot believe people would be so rude to you to say you don't wash your hands. We normal people dont need to see you dot the i's and cross the t's. Just ignore these trolls. I love you reminding me life can be fun and simple and also economic. Love your simple tasty meals Sharon. Cheers 👍🇦🇺
Thanks for this, great recipe! 😉😉 I love Slo-Cooker Stews. Cheap, cheerful, bung it all in. Makes the whole home smell great. My Slo-Cooker is a 1.5 ltr, with an "auto function," which cooks, on "high," for two hours then, switches to "low," so I normally leave it on for 8 hours. I have a variation on this, which I tried, the other day: Tesco's "Chef's Base," (mixed veg, already chopped.) Tesco's Finest Caramelized Red Onion Sausages, browned and chopped up. 1 Packet of Colman's Sausage Casserole mix, dissolved in water. Half a tin of Cream of Tomato Soup. 1 teaspoon of Mixed Herbs. Salt and Pepper. It cost around a fiver to make and yielded one portion for me and two for the freezer. I tried (Dijon) "mustard mash," a while ago and it's wonderful!
I'm fussy with textures and not keen on sausages in a casserole but I'm giving it another go this week after watching this. Great idea with the mustard mash!
Yet another great video, but may I just mention something? Camping stoves are designed to be used outdoors. It might be an idea to emphasise that only butane canisters should be used indoors and then only if the area is well ventilated, as is your kitchen of course. Other gases can emit co2. Sorry to be a bore.😢
Great video, a couple of thoughts, maybe a few carrots would bulk things up (or tomatos if you want to push the boat out) , and the slow cooker looks really big, for the amount going into it. but I guess you use what you've got. but a top tip is slow cooker liners makes cleanup so much easier.
Love you two you are brill. Your school dinner meals make me so hungry. Your air fryer recipes help me as I dont have much information so still learning. I have a Ninja multi cooker and most recipes are American so always watch your new recipes, Maybe try some pressure cooker recipes in the future? Will be trying out this sausage casserole this week looks fab! Keep on doing what youre doing XX
