You have some great projects, but time is the problem I have. I putting a 67 Shelby 500 together as close to original as I can. Then drive it, weather permitting. Then sell it, and get a project i want a 60s gm, and a old Harley Davidson . I don't have many years left. I'm 64 handicapped and a lump in my brain. But I still love old muscle cars.
Is it junk? Yes. Yes it's junk. Is it worth saving. Also yes. Not everything needs to be perfect. Every nut and bolt doesn't need to be aligned perfectly. Wrinkles and scars make an object more interesting.
I drove the exact same Yazoo mower for years in the late 80s those things are beasts. That's a wicked cool find haven't seen one in 30 years at least 🍻
Brother it’s in the air, I just bought a claapppppeeeed out 55 f100. There is not much left but I couldn’t pass. Same thing I bought it for scrap and it had a title.
Just a thought here, start letting your boy film while you’re working and commentating a little. Free it up one less thing for you to worry about, seems like it could also add some laughs! 😂 no criticism here just a thought 👍🏼🇺🇸 I enjoy every video and Wesley’s channel as well! Thanks
When I was 16 the Ford dealership had a `49 F1 parts truck, first pickup I ever drove .Fast forward 50 years I have `50 Merc M1 on a `80 Chev C10 chassis!
I could use the doors and hood off the old truck you loaded! EXP were popular funny cars back in the day ! Kenny Bernstein and others had EXP BODIES. Motor coach is cool! Glad your neighbor isn’t putting a LazySwap engine in his truck Need you to wire my 48 ford truck Got some wiring problems
7:09 I remember those motor coaches, back in 1999/2000 my late second cousin owned a boat repair shop in a marina locally and had one of those he used to haul boats around
I had two like that. Tore on down to the bare frame. Wife got sick and they had to go to. NEW HOME. there are still a lot of those trucks hiding in the weeds. Take care.
That chopped up truck is sweet. I have a couple of motor transmission options for it if I have it. Out here in southern California I would take the roof off and enjoy the sun. Totally down to take it and make it something fun.
More people need to save these older car bc you never know about the future might have in store for us and guess what you can't kill an old Ford motor that don't need Electronic
Those western hauler vans were the thing when I was a kid thought they were so cool. I need all the 57 chevy stuff lol Right door and front cap for my wagon and hood for my yellow 2 door
Man MotorTrend is going to shut this video down for you giving out their show projects Lmaoo 😂😂😂 but man I love that you guys have so many projects then most people have fingers and toes 😂😂 you will never run out of content to shoot between your projects, your son’s and your buddies. David you’re a great man who has a great channel keep up the good work and good will always follow!! Blessings bro💯
I had a 1986 Escort GT, I would LOVE to have an XP, but my wife would KILL me for trying to add even ONE to our lot let alone 8! I used the EXP floor piece to replace the back seat in my GT as soon as I could find one in a boneyard in the 80s. At least one made into a car mag in the 80s/90s with a 495/505 stuffed in it. I SO wanted to put a twin-turbo 302 in one. I STILL regret selling my Escort GT in 1996 when moving cross country. It was clean, I had upgraded it with power EVERYTHING, massive stereo, etc. I miss that car.
My dad had one similar to this one till my brother got hold of it and traded it for a Chevy front end clip that he was going to use on a 50s Chevy hotrod pickup he was building.
it's been a minute since I've seen another Ford dually van-up my dads brother & sister both had one of those they used back in their rodeo days of course back in late 80's they were like brand new cuz they both bought them new back then and I thought they were different then and I even drove one of them for like a month when he stuck in the hospital it was kindof weird to drive cuz was like a conversion van but rode stiff when it had no weight on it.. I'd love to get that 67-72 chevy from you I had 68 cst short bed that i spent 2 years restoring it in '91 & '92 and within an hour of it being finished it was hit by a 59 or 60 caddilac going 60mph on front driverside and it hit me so hard the back of it spun round and the driverside bed hit the back of it bending the whole truck and frame into da shape of a banana the whole truck was totalled beyond repair so picked up a 72 and started restoring it but had to sell it before I could do really anything to it I was going to do a 2" chop on the roof so the chop top is something I don't mind
My dad had an exp he was driving while he was going back to college we called it the experienced he bought it for $250 and drove it for 4 years till my sister wrecked it
I would take shorty if your gunna give her up, I miss having a C10, and have been looking for a cab or whole truck even with no title "I still have my vin plate from my old step side"
Hey if that 68-72 dually with the hacked up top I’d be interested in I’ve got 1 69 c20 and a 1972 c30. I have a good c20 frame and enough parts to fix that truck up
