I bought mine in 2017 and still love it. With the 27mm pancake lens, it's incredibly small but solid, and I frequently have it with me in a jacket pocket or small everyday sling.
Considering buying the X-T20. That's how I found this video. Have a Sony A7 III and the lenses I need for that. Probably not very smart to buy a second system. But a X-T20 paired with a manual 7Artisan 35mm f/1.2 seems like a fun combo and I think would work as therapy.
I recently bought the X-T20 second hand with the Sigma 30mm 1.4 after having taken a break for 5 years from photography. Was a Nikon fanboy but I'm amazed about the quality the camera still has. The out of camera JPEG files are really good and with some minor adjustments in Lightroom there great! I don't do video, not my cup of thee sort of speak so I cannot judge that part of the camera. But for now, I have a blast with it, be it taking pictures with my family or going out for street photograpy. And your Porto video got me more exited about this little camera!
Great to hear you’re getting back into it! And you’re right, the jpegs are really good, and surprisingly editable if you need to! Thanks for watching :))
This camera was my entry into the Fujifilm world. Great little camera. I have since added a nice X-T3 to keep it company. The X-T20 paired with either the 23 or 35 f/2 is a great combo for travel I think.
Have mine since 2019 and I still love it. Took it with me in every holiday. Created a few photobooks from the plain JPGs and the quality is totaly sufficient even if the picture is spreaded over the full book size. Also larger prints aren't an issue. I also took it with me on a couple of weddings from friends and the results turned out great. The kit lense (18-55) that came with the camera is great for lightweight holidays. Got myself the 35mm f2.0 for the weddings which is great as well. Never needed weather sealing for myself
@@KostenfreiGratis the jpegs really are great from this! And I fully agree, the 18-55 is such a great all round lens, massive fan of it. If you don’t need weather sealing then this hasn’t got a lot of drawbacks for sure. Cheers for taking the time to watch the video!
I just got he XT20 paired with a TTArtisans 27mm lens. I absolutely love it and it works very well for tiny video's and pictures to go with my music. Amazing little camera.
I bought this camera in 2017, I have used it a lot and I still use it, and I have the t-5, t-3 and H-1, the quality of the photos is great, its shortcomings are obvious , but you're right with what you say, for street photography it's amazing and a perfect entry-level camera.
Ah glad to see you’re still using it! Thanks for watching the video, there are some shortcomings but it definitely holds its own, and offers something different to even the other (lovely) cameras you mentioned there!
The X-T20 was my very first Fuji camera, it made me fall in love with photography all over again and fall in love with Fuji cameras. I have since then moved on to the X-T2 and then the X-T3 that I still use for my professional work, but that X-T20 let me tell you was a hard camera to sell, emotionally speaking. I do sometimes think about buying one again but so far that temptation hasn’t won just yet 😅
@@kedralive if you're wondering which one you should get, then I can't answer that for you, it depends on what you want to do with the camera, what are your priorities... Of course the X-T20 being a generation older has fewer features, and the AF is less advanced... but to tell you the truth that never stopped me from getting fantastic photos with it, in fact years later I still have photos that feature high up on my portfolio that were taken with the X-T20 :)
@@fadiheterjag Thanks, thats nice to hear. I'm just wondering which one is more worth buying, from what I see XT30 is much more expensive, but XT20 is older and may have more mileage. Do you see any other reasonable models for around $300-450 for the body? I was thinking about buying the 18-55mm 2.8-4F lens
@@kedralive the X-T20 and that kit lens are great! Find one in good condition and it will serve you well! Most importantly don’t fall for the trap of thinking that you can’t take a specific kind of picture because you don’t have this or that camera, rather find a way to do all you want to do given the camera you have, and you’ll be a much happier photographer :)
@@druids84 hey, thanks for the kinda words and watching! Most of the colour shots were taken using Classic Chrome and b&w using Acros! Hope this helps :))
Hey, great videos haha makes me want to buy the xt20 wirh that said. I’m planning to buy my first camera and I’ve been eyeing the xt20 for about 3-4 months now. I’m into photography and will be using it as a hobby and also in my college organization since I’m a part of it. Saw the fuji xa7 and watched some reviews and somehow Im liking it but with the price range, the xt 20 is a little expensive for about 130-150 ish dollars (converted) than the xa7 in my country. I wanna know your thoughts about this two camera and what should I get? Thanks a lot! Hoping for your response.
@@KateShiwoshiwo Hi Kate, thanks so much for watching and commenting! I’m not as familiar with the XA7, the main differences I can see are the LCD screen on the XA7 is newer and articulates fully, it doesn’t have an EVF (which is useful if it’s bright out) and the XT20 does. It would seem the XA7 has better video features, but both are more or less the same for photos. The XA7 does have USB C charaging, which is handy. I think they’re both do really well, but I don’t know the XA7 well enough to say for sure if it’s better or worse!
@@kedralive hi mate, both are great! XT20 over the XT30 would be my choice of the two(better value for money imo), around £350-400(max) would be a great price! Have you looked at the XT30ii or is this purely a choice between the XT20 or XT30?
@ronan_duff im looking for best body (APS-C) for 300-500$. I think these are some of the better options, unless you have some other? Isn't the XT30 II not too different and cost more than the XT30?
@@kedralive yeah these are great options for that price range, especially for photo I think the XT20 is definitely the best value for money of the two - hopefully you’d have some money leftover to go towards a photo trip or a lens to go with it!
