@@Crocogator That's one of my favorite games of all times and it is the main reason Dead Space 1 is the way it is which is another game I love with really creative death animations.
This is a standalone prologue/prequel for the full "Is This Game Trying To Kill Me?" game which is due for release in about 6-8 months time. It's got clever game-within-a-game puzzles and plenty of fun ways to die!
“You don’t think about continuing your journey in such a downpour, do you?” Well… that’s actually a great idea. *Jump out the window and run away screaming*
"Oh, don't worry, I have an umbrella. But thank you for the offer." "...That's not really what I-" **already walking away into the night, humming merrily**
This one definitely looks interesting; IDK about the horror theme, but I like the idea of puzzles with the game and external worlds interacting with each other.
Honestly, I was half expecting Sierra-level death traps. It's both reassuring and a little disappointing. I still have horrible flashbacks to that bridge from Kings Quest 2, but... it would have been funny to see how many people skipped over a flight of stairs and immediately fell to their deaths.
Reminds me of what Inscryption pretended that it was going to be, before abruptly dropping the core mechanic and literally forcing the player to play a terrible gameboy CCG for several hours.
