Theo and Bee gave up their busy city lifestyles in 2014 to explore alternative living, and have lived in vans and boats since then without looking back! Along with their cat Ginjey Bear they have been driving around the world in their self converted Sprinter van. However, when the global pandemic hit they began converting their abandoned stone barn in Central Portugal to turn into a wonderful tiny stone cottage. Along the way, they have rescued a playful cat called Furrnando and have a wonderful flock of Chickens!

Thank you, Theo, for the health update. My husband also had Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease and going back to the Basics and eating like we were raised in the 60 's healed his body. I knew you'd lost weight Theo, but I chose not to mention it just incase it was due to illness that was private. You are both looking so healthy. NAFLD is rampant. I stopped all carbs, over-processed grains, basically keto. Dropped almost 20kg and reversed all sorts of pain, inflammation, pre-diabetes, and depression. Good on you for making good choices.

I had the same problem, I did my own diet with doctor guide during pandemic and lost 41 kilograms, now I exercise every day and yoga and I feel like different person. I tell everyone if I could you could so Theo, keep going , its so satisfying!

That is what I said it could be a fatty liver I am a medical technologist with a master in micro I am glad you are getting better you could cleanse your liver by taking milk thistle your liver is a giant filter and absorbs all the toxins in your body and poisons and it gets clogged like any other filter

Around video marker 14 where the last goat walks off the tar onto the dirt it looks like he is not really limping but favoring his one front leg..maybe he has something in his hoof. Fernando is catching up right behind him-the tour guide wants to keep his job security. That was a really pretty walk. The black walnut is quite a find. Theo I can see your face is thinner. Kudos to you for being disciplined to change your diet-that is not easy to do. Good to hear both of you are doing better health wise👍🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Cutting out energy drinks , better known to me are suger syrup drinks also hype you up and most likely cause many sleep issues. Taking care of yourself does show and when you do simple life changes things do work out we are wonderfully made! Your home is comming back to life as well the property even though was damaged with you and Bea"s help is returning better than before!

Thank you for the health update. I was diagnosed with the same disease 4 years ago and completely reversed the disease with a whole food plant based diet. Not only are processed foods a contributing factor but dairy, eggs and meat with their fatty components add to the inflammation of your fatty liver. Keep up the great work Theo. You and Bee are such kind and caring humans, it’s good to see you feeling good!

So glad your feeling better Theo.i went like that with food when I lost my Daughter.it was definitely comfort eating big time.i would have a realy unhealthy meal then half an hour later looking for snacks.i had a wake up call and now I feel a lot more healthy.which means I can look after her favourite part of my garden .oh dear fernando losing star's again you will never make chief tour guide if you are late but your still beautiful.love from Staffordshire.🐱🐱🐈🐈‍⬛

Great news, Theo!! I am so glad that you figure out what was going on with your liver. It seems that you are absolutely in the right track to get it all sort it out. Amazing what junk food does to our bodies and how oblivious most people are about how it damages our precious bodies!! I hope you will continue being an advocate for healthy eating, drinking and living in general. people like you two have the opportunity to be able to influence a lot of people. Bee, I would so love it it you'd take closeup photos of your wild flowers and plants at various angles - it would be interesting to see if we can identify them for you. Looking forward to seeing your wild visitors on the new cam. What are you planting in your garden beds by the house? Poor Theo and your tractor! You've worn it out! Too bad you can't just change its diet, so it will feel as energetic as you. So relieved to hear that you've discovered the problem and are on the road to health again. When all the fruits on the property begin to ripen, you'll have no need to buy snacks. Do you have a dehydrator? That would be so useful.

Bee, I am just amazed how the goats and Fernando follow you on your walk. I can't even get my dog to follow me. He runs wildly everywhere and won't come when I call him. I was told to start the Mediterranean diet for health reasons. It's now going to be a way of life for me. Ive slipped though these last few weeks after a road trip but I want to live to see my grandbabies so I better get back to it! Good for you for making a healthy switch Theo! Theo, I’m so glad to see you eating better, and taking your health seriously. Changing my diet, eating more veggies, cutting out red meat, coffee, sugary drinks, and processed foods changed my health tremendously. I’m so glad to see you taking better care of yourself. The best news ever Theo regarding your health! I'm a holistic nutritionist and your view about diet is so on point. Yay for all of you, health is wealth. Bee, you can make tincture from black walnut, (de-wormer/parasites) but you have to drive them over with a car first to crack them they're so hard, and wear gloves because they stain everything. Wonderful forest discovery. BTW, my little grandson is named Theo, and because I'm adopted, it was only after he was named that I discovered it was also the name of my grandfather. Anyway, rambling here, but so happy for you guys.

So glad you’re overcoming the problem with your health. I know exactly what you’ve gone through. I had the same diagnosis 11 years ago. First I was told to stop drinking alcohol. I haven’t drunk alcohol for 25 years! When they realised this they sat up and took notice and re-diagnosed me with NASH. I lost over 2 stone and felt a lot better. Maintaining it is the key thing now. Change of diet but not depriving yourself is what works with me. You and Bee deserve the good life, take care of each other and then you’ll have everything you need. Your home is beautiful. ❤

Nature will always heal itself, even after the worse fire. Eat right, exercise and get plenty of sleep. Get that garden up and running, Bee. Eating fresh, home grown veggies is a plus. Also, get familiar with the mushrooms around the mountain. Mushrooms are magic for keeping cancers at bay.🤗💖

@Theo, I too was diagnosed with NAFLD. I started taken milk thistle, Berberin & Nattokinase. Please, please research it. I have lost 13 pounds , cut out sugars , carbs & cows milk. NAFLD is reversible
