I was fortunate to do so way back in 2014 when she first auditioned for Norway's Got Talent at age 7 and never a day has passed since-) then without me listening to one or more of her performances. This is like a beneficial drug. 🙂 The almost 60 comments prior to this one give you a great deal of information about this amazing young lady, and you will realise by reading it that she has a very loyal fan base, she calls us her "Angels". Your comparison o who Angelina sounds like is valid, as long as you understand that the problem of defining who Angelina reminds us of on a particular occasion is because she has recognised the uniqueness of great artists of the past and added those elements to her musical toolbox. Bohemian Rhapsody was Angelina's performance song 2020 at AGT the champions. Not only did she get the golden buzzer from Heidi Klum also huge praise from the remaining members of the legendary Queen. You got the Amy Winehouse & Adele influence right, but Billie Holiday is her biggest influence along with all the legendary jazz singers from the 40's, 50's & 60's. She is known as the "Angel With 1000 Voices" & after you've heard another 100 or so songs, all different, you will see why I believe she is the most versatile vocal artist of my lifetime & I'm in my 70's. Angelina entered Norway for Talent at age 7 and won. Quincy Jones invited her to sing at his 85th birthday party and compared her to Michael Jackson. AJ’s Christmas Show that live-streamed on Dec 23 of 22 had some of the most important musicians of our time: Frank Sinatra's drummer for 6 years, and sun in-law of the late Henry Mancini, Greg Field has won 9 Grammys, and the bass player, Chuck Berghofer who also played for Sinatra for 6 years and toured with Barbara Streisand accompanied AJ on her Christmas Show that aired Dec 23 of 21, and they stated that she had the "storytelling ability of the greats, Streisand, Fitzgerald, Vaughan, including Sinatra, to name a few. The main pianist, a five-time nominated for Grammys, Shelly Berg, stated in all his years working with the greatest vocalist, he had never encountered a talent like AJ. Did I forget to mention Jimmy Z, the famous Sax Player who worked with Rod Steward, Etta James, the Eurythmics, and Doctor Dre, was part of the band for the show? Jimmy stated that AJ was the best he has ever played for. This girl is a natural singer and has been wowing people since she was 7. Her skill, versatility, and tone are second to none. She isn't a singer who tends to knock your socks off with vocal athletics (although she can if she wants to) but rather with her amazing musicality. S he is well worth investigating. I am a huge Angelina Jordan fan and love her ability and talent but it seems to me that her live shows from the summer seem to have slowed down some of the songs just a bit too much. There is a limit on how slow you can go before it becomes a distraction, or makes it less listenable and you start to strain with anticipation of the lyrics or the melody
