@@overtimearcade Yeah of course! Thanks for the nice words as well, I'm glad that you enjoy my videos too. I'll definitely be filming more soon! If you're ever in the NH area, and feel like stopping by for some games, let me know :)
Wow. What a great selection! Most of my favorites are there. Vanguard, Battlezone, Phoenix, Smash TV, Mario Bros, Black Widow, Galaga, and Centipede all in one place. So many great memories. Thanks for that.
Thanks! Black Widow is such amazing game! It's like what you'd get if two of my personal favorite arcade games -- Tempest and Robotron -- had a lovechild!
Nice video. It's great that Jim has some 90s and 2000s games as part of the collection. I've seen people who grew up in the 70s and 80s try to open arcades, but only stock 1980s arcade games. They avoid anything newer. These arcades ended up struggling or closing down because they don't have enough variety with arcade cabinets. 90s kids can only play so much Pac Man and Space invaders. When you open an arcade, you need to have games that go beyond your personal taste or what you grew up with.
Yep, I agree 100%! I've made a similar recommendation to other arcade owners: you need to focus on "Top 40" hits to resonate with the casual audience, and mix in a few "deep cuts" to appeal to the hardcore enthusiast!
May the Force be with Jim & Y2Kade ~ always. Knight Stocker was lost forever to me because I forget about it personally so it was frickin' excellent to unlock that memory again. Thanks kindly OT 👾 🖖
Here's a pizza review: Helen's is the best pizza joint in the Jersey City arts district, and a very short walk from Barcade Jersey City which I also recommend!
I'm looking for a star Castle I noticed that one wasn't working LOL 🤣 If he's looking to sell the machine I'm willing to purchase. I live 15 minutes away from Cerritos.
