I absolutely love Thornhill. One of my favorite bands in the entire scene right now, especially after The Dark Pool. You were absolutely spot on with the deftones comparison, literally the first thing I thought of when I first heard the track lmao.

I get heavy Crow vibes from this. Erik Draven could be in this band. That being said, you should definitely do a Worm Shepherd song sometime. Maybe River Ov Knives!

It is The Crow - this was the penthouse window from the first movie - haven`t seen it in ages but i am pretty sure :) Where Brandon`s characters is thrown out of after the home assault ....

"You gotta pay the Troll Toll/If you wanna get into that boy's hole", Yeah man I personally like how the sound has changed, The Dark Pool is a phenomenal album, especially the song Lilly and the moon. The most of the video and the broken window are referencing, The Crow.

I definitely get the deftones vibe, especially from the drummer's consistent snare pop. The vocal melodies during the chorus also pull from some early A Perfect Circle

Sick video Dickey, would love to see you react to some more of the Australian core scene, bands have been locked away in constant covid lockdowns and are ready to BUST out all the new tracks they've been working on. Northlane album is a good one to look forward to soon too with two tracks released already.

I honestly thing that Loathe's 2020 opus is the best and heaviest Deftones record ever. Now I'm gonna have to listen to Thornhill. Thanks for the reaction, I've been looking for something new. It's July 2022 and I've been spinning the latest Fit for an autopsy since January. :-D
