In this video, I meet up with my friend and RU-vidr EV Nick Raimo - I go to his house and install his new home battery storage system from Livotek. How much do you think this neat home battery install would cost to install? This hybrid inverter is a solar PV inverter, as well as a home battery inverter - similar to a Tesla Powerwall - all rolled in to one. It can be installed with a 3.68kW PV system, or a 5kW PV system like the one we installed here, and can come with batteries sized to 5kWh, 10kWh, 15kWh, and 20kWh. The battery energy storage systems can also be used without solar PV to buy electricity when it is cheap, to use and/or sell it back to the grid when it is more expensive.
