Actually, I did have a request for your consideration. Tell us a little about how to best approach a gallery. You've mentioned all those great clues to check on the legitimacy of a gallery, and the assumption should be that we've already checked to see that our work is similar enough to what they're already showing... Now what? Is a cold-call email the next step? What are they looking for in that letter? Other than links to some portfolio presentation, are they looking for social media followings? Are they looking for a pitch? Or are they less interested in conversation at this point, and simply want to check our work first, and start a conversation once their interest is stirred?
Hi John, this is a really good question. I believe the best way is to wait for the gallery to contact you! There are many ways you can attract them: attending online event they host or the ones they might attend too; follow their social media, add contact to them on LinkedIn... even appearing top on Google results. Eventually they will run after you! Of course if that doesn’t happen yet, the next best thing is to attract collectors. I wouldn’t recommend cold calling because not everyone takes cold calls seriously.
Having watched the video yet....but OMG thank god this is exactly what I need now!!! I was just about to pay an online IG "gallery" for feature and then I saw this video!!
@@VeryPrivateGallery thanks! Can you elaborate a little more on what you mean by "your own communication"? You mean on having better posts and etc? I am in the process of growing my followers numbers on IG, and couldn't figure out how to grow that organic other than buying follower(which I absolutely NOT am going to do) or getting your work featured on other's IG that has over a million followers. I tried every other things like engaging audience etc...
Artistspacegallery is a useful site or fake ????😞😞😞😞mere experience se ye fake nikla meri 8 hr. Ki mehnat 😭kharab ho gayi mere exam hain still maine use side karke isme time Diya 😭😭😭
You can use your own website as an artist gallery. You take home 100% of the earnings (just paying very little commissions to Shopify or the e-commerce App of your choice).
Hello could you please do a video with shouting out art creators that only have up to 100 subscribers I think that would be really helpful for people like me and others so that our channels can get promoted Thankyou so much
However, I do think a channel needs to have at least 20 videos, otherwise it’s not exactly a channel yet. Personally it took me 20 videos to have my first 100 subs. It’s fair to say, with 20 videos, the 100 subs are almost a secure thing to expect!
