@@ChiggerNicken The film is a critique of how the world is today, that's the whole point of the movie. They are showing us human nature and how the class struggle has always/will always be a thing.
@devonte2574 you talkin bout the oil change? Why don't you just say that?! Every time I come here, you always put me through this homosexual rigamarole with your terminology, man.
@@SkootOTS the Leaders of the train essentially disregarded anyone in the back trains, the poorer people, so the ones in those poorer trains started eating eachother. Early in the movie there is a old man missing a leg and another character that is like a little brother to the main character. The main character reveals that They were like a few month into eating eachother and woman was hiding a baby. A dude killed the mom and they started fighting over who gets to eat the baby. A man came out and told them to take his leg. Its revealed that man was the old mentor to the MC and the baby was the SC and the man who killed the mom and wanted to eat the baby was the MC. They use children to fit into little parts of the engine and they are essentislly mechanics snd die there when they get too big. They use the poorer trains as a farm and take the small children to replace the dead ones making their infinity engine everlasting.
@@ChubbPiratesdon’t forget that the same old man who gave up his leg was working with the head of the train the whole time . Purposefully enticing revolts so that they could justify killing the people in the back when it got overpopulated
So many movies I missed while I was in the military. 2010-2015 is like a dead blur. Boot camp, training command, 4 deployments. I didn't even know this existed.
there are other insects used to make protein powder, beside cricket. Some of these include: 1. **Mealworms** - Larvae of the darkling beetle. 2. **Black soldier fly larvae** - Larvae of the black soldier fly. 3. **Grasshoppers** - Various types of grasshoppers. 4. **Silkworms** - Larvae of the silkworm moth. So why not for the cockroaches... 😏
People may think this has never happened to anyone. But the Japanese in ww2. Inside of unit 31 did perform this experiment on innocent Chinese prisoners..
Far worse !!! Wayyyyyy worse big wah buddy lost feeling in arm ,then arm sounds like surgery 😂 and don’t even start on the people living on the train they’re still alive and not in idk camps 😂
Fair . They got money they should get the resources . The poor are lucky they even got a chance to get on that train . That ain't some normal train and it's not moving for years for free , people paid for it. Whoever did gets to enjoy it's luxury 🤷🏿
This Snowpiercer is much more realistic than show,it show the cruelty of the rich people towards the other classes, and leader of the poor class was basically a snitcher only for us to end up knowing that children of the poor class are used to manipulate train manually cause train lost its ability to move perpetually
Im guessin cuz its fuked up and they had children eat that. Also they seemed grateful for it, only for it to be literal shit.... thats almost like holocaut type treatment @@ke2s.
It’s not about greed it’s not about envy not about none of that. Key thing is is about money the more money they see it ass the better off you are that’s why you’re treated better or whatever.
Snowpiercer I watched this 3yrs ago with my 23yr old cousin bro the was a mother that died only because of her daughter they were gonna do the same thing o the daughter but the mother sacrificed herself😔
This is exactly what is going on today , none of our food is real and they have made it extremely expensive to be a vegetarian or even have real organic food , it’s even a crime in some states to grow food or collect rainwater
I think that these "bars" are healthier than today's food. Which because it is industrialized is carcinogenic, no matter how much we don't want to admit it. Yes, we have plenty of food, but there is also a cost.

Cool completely, cut into squares and enjoy your brownies
Aint no way they have enough food on just one train to last 17 years non stop. Its a good story line....but in all honesty there would be so much unrest.....those that are poor would get fed up and storm the from. They would be willing to die for this because its certain uncomfortable living conditions for a prolonged period of time, and eventually death. Why not take our chances going up front?
Yes but there’s other nutrients our body needs to survive and cockroaches aren’t enough so eventually everybody on the poor side of the train would’ve died from malnutrition
@@supafrieddthat "what" meant he couldn't believe what he just heard, either because of how sudden it is to learn about it or straight up think its a bunch of nonsense
According to the backstory of the film, a chemical was released into the atmosphere to try and reduce global warming. It worked a little too well and plunged the planet into a nuclear winter. Now all that remains of humanity lives on one train that's continuously circling the globe.
There are many companies working on producing insect based foods, from ice cream to fake steaks, you can do anything with pure protein from insects, and it is almost unlimited supply, as population grows this is the solution for the future.
There is a theory, confirmed by the director, that this movie is a strange and dark adaptation of Willy wonka and the chocolate factory. There’s a good RU-vid video going over it, it’s worth a watch if you’re interested.
This is Charlie and chocolate factory. at the ending He said only kids can fit in the machine which where Oompa-Loompas worked at the factory Which where I doubt that was only 3 feet tall, 4 feet. Wonka why W is on the door.
