I noticed your selection of background music are carefully selected to match the topic & locality. 👍🏼 good job. Congratulations on your silver button too 👏🏼.
Yes, this is MALAYSIA lah !!! 😄 A massive thanks, Mike, Gigi for showing our capital city, KUALA LUMPUR, especially the Petronas Twin Towers to the world. Good job and well done, guys. Love you both...❤️❤️
I just love the Irama Melayu (traditional Malay music) throughout the video. Foreigners barely ever use (not sure if they even aware of) Malay music in their videos and I really appreciate that about you two. And since you’re an engineer, why don’t apply for a job at Petronas? It was the most profitable company in the whole of Asia in 2008 and they contribute most to Malaysian economy iinm. They pay sweetly too I hope this won’t come off as racist but Bangladeshis are the nicest of immigrants in Malaysia. They the fastest learner of our national language, being able to speak the language in just months of living here, and the kindest too.
First time in Malaysia? Were you born again? 😂. GG gone full crazy mode? Thats funny. Anyway, Malaysia is now your kampung. It is your second home. Great promotional video. It was well done. I should treat both of you for a nice dinner hehe.
My favorite background music for this video it so really good.. I really like your style make a video that will made interesting for our Malaysian.. Malay musical sound.. You know what a Malaysian people want it.. 🤣 Hope you enjoy in Malaysia 🇲🇾 ❤️ our country our style..
I love the positive vibes you bring in your videos... funny too... most of all loved the part Gigi went crazy to hug the Twin Towers hahaha... thank you for promoting KL
5:45 As to the mosque, while historically important, it's not located in a residential district. So nowadays those who use it for prayers are usually not Malaysians but Bangladeshi, Indian, Pakistani and Indonesian migrant workers who work in the area.
Actually, the one that gained independent in 1957 is Malaya(West Malaysia). Malaysia formed 16th September 1963 by 4 nations - Malaya, Singapore, Sabah & Sarawak. 14:31 The 'gelatin' is the effect of cornflour fixed into the soup to make it thick. You take small amount of cornflour, mix it with some water until it turn to liquid(I usually mix them in a cup), then pour it into the boiling soup. That also how I make beef stew from beef soup leftover.
Hello, Gigi and Mike! correction: the Federation of Malaya (West Malaysia) indeed gained its independence on 31st August, 1957 from Britain. 16th September, 1963: Malaya, Singapore, Sarawak and Sabah (S & S both in Borneo Island known as East Malaysia) came together to form what is now known as Malaysia. Fact: Sabah had its independence on 31st August, 1963. Fact: Sarawak gained its independence on 22nd July, 1963 before Malaysia came to be in September, 1963.
@@lovevivo9182 sekurang kurangnya malaysia tempat orang nak cari rezeki tak kira bangsa apa pon boleh . Jangan iri hati kejayaan kami . Satu dunia tahu kejayaan kami bangsa melayu bisa bekerja sama bangsa lain yang cukup hebat juga .
@@lovevivo9182 Tapi orang2 malaysia tak perg cari makan di-negara kamu. Malu lah sikit, cermin diri kamu dahulu sebelum menghina negara tempat cari makan bangsa kamu sendiri hahaha
Walk at night, then it is a lot different experience, especially the fountain sprinkler u ask about. Mind u guys, why the rivers are no 1 important: 1. Back in the day, everyone use the river water for living and remember,Malaysia was a mining(tin, iron ore, aluminum, and etc etc) country, so the need of using water is number one for that case,as we do provide the rubber for the world too, till now. Kuala is sanctuary. Lumpur is muddy. And any sanctuary in Malaysia was and is the early town/development
Where the "River of Life" is where Kuala Lumpur began (means "Muddy Confluence")... Night time with lights it looks beautiful and serene there the meeting point of Gombak River and Klang River 👍🏻
Gigi absolutely in love with KLCC is very cute.. I recommend you guys to visit Sultan Mizan Mosque is you guys wants to look at cool architecture.. Ngl one of the coolest mosque in Malaysia
Good guess Gigi.. we first found this type of misty sprinkling system used in Spain during summer since the 90's, later popularized in other hot climate countries till present day.. 🤗☔
Hi dodo...steve and ivana(jetlag warriors)at indonesia now, please stay until our national day on 31st..in august we have a lot of activities, i watched u eat durian hehe
1. The location of current Masjid Jamek was originally Muslim burial ground (cemetary) over a century ago. Based on an old 1895 map, previous mosque was located across the river to the right (the place you bought burger and purple drink, maybe Ribena). Next to it was Malay settlement. Based on an old newspaper article, crocodiles used to roam freely in the middle of Klang River in Kuala Lumpur! Today, crocodile sightings are still common from few kilometres downstream until the river mouth (Straits of Melaka) 2. You should have spent the evening at the back of KLCC for colourful musical fountain show.
Thats downtown KL but KL Metro is 8mil people with about US$200bn economy. The whole metro area is pretty modern with many futuristic developments build such as TRX, Lalaport, Pavillion area and world class public transportation now. Its squeaky clean and fairly organized too. Good place to be in Asia to live and business
26:12 Why there’re water mist spray? Because it will amplify the light from installed blue neon LED along riverside at night. It’s almost like effects from smoky dry ice on stage.
The mist and smoke,is for beautification and aestetic purpose...u should go during night time,it will gv different perspective and ambience when the smoke combine with blue spot light..s
When you stated first time in Malaysia, somehow i feel weird because both of you went travel to Sarawak by car not long ago before took the flight to West Malaysia 😂 Anyway, enjoy your trip.
Independence was declared in Stadium Merdeka - 31 August 1957, not 'Merdeka Square'; Merdeka Square was know as Padang Selangor Club and used for cricket matches, then a car park was built underneath and the place renamed.
Steamer/fogger thing is actually for light show, a night view enhancer. It is not serve any purpose on the day, but I would like to know too if it has purpose.
Jalan bapak kau ( your father road ) 🤣🤣🤣 I laughing a little... for u mean nothing.. but we Malaysia understand what it means 😁😁 Loved you guys and welcome to Malaysia ♥♥
'kau ingat ni jalan bapak kau? ' , usually used when we are angry at someone who broke the traffic rules. Literally means 'do you think the road belongs to your father?'.
check out The Mines Center jz outside KL...it a venice theme shopping center...take a ride around the lake...recomended to go there in the evening...so u can enjoy the lake cruise..
Try visit the Jamek mosque at night to feel blue mist..ic atmosphere. I think the mist was added to hide the color of the rivers since not possible to make it clear enough at this moment.
The Confluence of the 2 River ...Sg Klang and Sg Gombak ( Sg..Sungai Means River ) Chinese & Malay Big Junk Boats used to Come up.this River Klang From Klang in Sgor.
