Funny, in Puerto Rico nobody drinks Bacardi except for tourists. It's either Don Q or Palo Viejo but I believe that's more of a patriotic thing since Bacardi is originally from Cuba.

I quite like this one. Taste reminds me of the fried bananas that hibachi japanese places here in the states sometimes make on their big flat grills with simple syrup and a bit of spice.

How would this compare to the Ron Santiago 8? I got a bottle of that for £20.

Think I said in the video…but probably an unfair comparison. Santiago 8 is a more rounded nest sipper. But more character and body. And at £20 that’s a steal. But as a mixer, you may prefer Bacardi 4 cos it’s lighter and less complex. Depends what you like from mixing rums.

I haven't tried Bacardi 4 but I have tried their spiced rum and also their white, gold, and black rum. Bacardi Black is the only one I continue to buy mainly because it is the most affordable black rum that I enjoy. Their other rums haven't impressed me (Except Bacardi 151 - which is the 1st rum I ever tried. Does Bacardi still make 151? Whatever happened to it?)

Bacardi have different rums for different markets. Example…what is Bacardi Black?! 😂 honestly don’t think I’ve never heard of that. Bacardi 151 hasn’t really ever been a UK product. We do get Bacardi Oro, but for literally £2 more, you’d buy the 4. Oh hang on…we do have Carta Negra. That’s Black. Forgot all about that. Actuallly, I might have to buy that to try it.
