I upgraded my 72v Sur Ron front suspension with a Fastace Fork and I've been testing it out this week. So far it's been a much welcomed upgrade to my electric dirt bike, but it's not perfect. In this video I'll show you my experience with this talaria sur ron upgrade and share my pro's and cons list. This is the FASTACE ALX13RC for Sur Ron X electric bike.

Charged Cycle Works has a custom tune available. It's $350 but will make these forks perfect for the Sur ron and your weight. Or just buy their upgraded spring and add one yourself. You bought a great fork that will become perfect with some tuning.

60 bucks for a fork crown removal and installation is crazy, my bike shop considers it minimum labor and charges like 15 bucks

😆 every since I got this upgraded battery I haven’t been as interested in wheelies lately, with the increased range and power I’ve been hitting off-road trails and mountains and exploring new places, I’ll get back on the wheelie thing soon enough

A store has to get paid for their time. Doing the research and getting that star nut installed properly would have cost you a little money and a lot of time. Same with removing that crown. Without that tool they have, it's pretty difficult to do. I don't think you got rolled or anyting. That they got you in and out without a wait is pretty big too.

Except... Marzocchi Bomber 58 is just under $1000, weighs ~5.5 pounds and **is** a Fox 40 with a less sophisticated damper - which will also fit an upgraded Fox or Ohlins damper inside if you want to get fancy. Not sure why anyone would choose anything FastAce, KKE, RST, or any of the crap china forks. The sentiment of "I didn't do any maintenance and my fork got sticky, so I just bought a new one" kind of explains the whole thing.

When you have weird things which weigh more than your scale can handle take a normal person scale and weigh yourself with and without the item. Calculate the difference and there you have it. I weigh my cat this way.
