I have this gamepad. This gamepad supports macOS and Windows via bluetooth. It has 2 modes of bluetooth connection: Switch and PC. macOS Ventura and above supports both modes. Windows 11 is said to support both modes as well, however if your Windows machine has bluetooth and you are unable to pair, try connecting the gamepad to your PC in PC mode (Home + Y). In this mode the P50 will be identified as an Xbox Wireless Controller. A welcomed feature of this controller is that when it is paired in "PC" mode the ABXY keys are still mapped correctly in Switch configuration: ie A is still A, B is still B etc. Rock on! 🤘🏼
I'm glad you put the bad with the good, because i was about to get this, however like you, i do enjoy tetris (and the variants like PPT), and i understand how much of a pain and how much rage a miss drop will be. Edit: Actually i see the blue one (the color i want) has a more sharper (Traditional) style on the D pad, whereas the grey one has the more rounder one, so i may try this out afterall Edit edit: Never mind the blue is only compatible with the switch (i want one that works for PC). I might just get it anyway, i misdrop so much in tetris so i might not even tell the difference Edit edit edit: Okay apparently it works for PC as well (the blue one). Man if this was a twitter thread you'd come back with a giant train of edits XD
I appreciate you coming back and sharing your thoughts I expect at least one more edit after you get the controller. Let us know if the sharper d pad solved the issues
Thanks for noticing. I did a review of a bunch of different mics, and showed the setup I'm using on this video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-6qa410zj6gI.html
@@GearsAndTech cost me around 33 bucks, circularity test shows about 7% error, its well centered, also they are not too sensitive, heard some people saying the sticks are too sensitive, but that could be only on the regular p50.
Yeah you got to hold the home+Y button for 3 seconds if you're connecting for the 1st time (it identifies as an Xbox controller btw). If it ever goes to sleep just hold the home+Y button for a second or two to reconnect. Somehow this method also works on mobile.
