This system is nice but you can create a better (brighter/longer lasting) version at half the cost. An 8ft telescope lantern stand, $45 (amazon). 1200lm, 20,000 mah rechargeable and powerbank option, 5 setting light, $35...or 3000lm, 10,000mah rechargeable with powerbank option, 4 mode light, $20. If this was $100 vs the $155-$175 advertised...then maybe, because I like the form factor.
I appreciate it thank you so much for watching! 😎 I really wanted to really show how much light these let’s out and how they can work for real world situations
I really appreciate you watching! 😎 the LightRangers have been on every trip with us so far. I can’t wait to see what kind of add one they come out with for these lights
Not to bash the company or your video, because I almost bought one. Instead I bought a pair of similar poles which were a bit longer from Amazon. Good part was the top spike was threaded and removable, which I cut a longer threaded rod to increase the distance between the light and top of pole to nearly eliminate any shadowing. Had a spare KC Hilite Cyclone V2 with a amber lens. Bought a 10’ 2.2mm x5.5mm cord, in line plug in on/off/dimmer controller with remote, and a 2.2x5.5mm female to USB connector. Not counting the KC light, I spent $42. Why go through this trouble? We the Devi’s has a non-replaceable battery, which means it is trash after the battery fails. My setup can be controlled remotely from my tent and if something does fail, I can replace it for cheap. Devos, make yours with a remote, replaceable 1860 batteries and a USB plug point at the bottom of the pole and ability to change the LED color instead of those bulky, expensive covers and I will buy a few even. P.S. My power cable runs down through the center of pole and out the bottom and I just coil it up as I collapse the pole and Velcro the coil to the pole. I wish I could post a pic?
