The Scottish Gallery of Modern Art (Modern One) has produced a stunning show of Do Ho Suh's paper works. Come and join as I explore. This exhibition is FREE and includes some of his trademark fabric architectural sculptures, as well as smaller works on paper. The exhibition is on until 1st September and is well worth a visit.

Wow, what a great exhibition! I would love to see it in person, but even on video the quality comes through. Thanks once again for sharing these shows. As we are on the opposite side of the world it's great to be able to at least visit through your vlog.

Thank you so much for watching. It's beyond my wildest dreams to reach you down under and spread the love of art so far. This was a show I went into pretty neutral and was blown away. Often the best types of visits! I'm tweaking the logo and name of the vlog soon but rest assured the vlogs will still cover the UK and European art scene.

Thank you for sharing. I’d love to visit Edinburgh and see these works oneself, the home pieces specifically I found relatable. A subject I’ve reflected on in my own art. I recommend Women in Revolt as a must see. Having experienced the exhibition at the Tate London, truly powerful and inspiring.

Thank you so much for watching. Home is a powerful subject matter, isn't it? I loved the Women in Revolt show too and am so glad that it is getting a second run.

This looks great, I've just returned from Edinburgh and sadly didn't have time to visit much art apart from the vermeer, rubens and rembrandt at the national Gallery. This certainly motivates me to return soon for an art trip.

Thank you for watching- the National collection is exquisite, isn't it. Perfectly formed! Great you got to enjoy those giants. The Art festival is always eclectic in August - El Anatsui amongst others this year- so worth a shot if you can as Do Ho Suh will still be on.

I love it so much, because I´m fiber artist and I had others techniques for my works. Sadly some of these works are made by a four or five person in his art residencies. Not a "solo" exhibition, really.

Really? That is interesting. So many artists are actually kind of massive collectives with one name but I didn't realise this was the case with him. Thank you for watching.

@@artgalleryexplorer As I read, he works as an "artist in residency" a lot of times with more people. And the thread thecnique wasn´t developed by him.

@@sweetrebeldy I doubt he developed papermaking nor lithography, either.
