@@chronology556 hi dear i am really interested in snackbox-micro. because its small size if you know any application that do international deliveries please inform me
Don't change the buttons often. I don't know which sockets they used for the cherry stitches but they are not designed to be changed all the time (despute all the hotswap claims) and will break. This is because the socket is just a part that has to be soldered onto the pcb and pushing and pulling can weaken the solder connection.
Your video with all of its details and minute intricacies convinced me to buy the snackbox micro. I’ve been contemplating buying a hitbox for the longest time, but I wanted something I could use for the switch since I’m a multi-platform gamer and this is perfect! Thank you so much for your knowledge and passion towards these subjects others tend to neglect/miss!
before u go breaking out sand paper make sure there’s no fiberglass in it. learned that the hard way with mad cats controller pad, hands and fingers itched for days until i finger rolled the controller into the garbage.
Kailh Choc switches! That’s awesome to know. My only concern is trying to fit this on my lap, as I have a hitbox about this size and it’s hard to get comfortable. It’s awesome to have on a desk and take up very little room compared to a normal hitbox.
Wow what crazy timing! I JUST saw one of these on my Twitter feed and was mesmerized by its size and LED buttons, only to find out that they’re sold out. /: then I see your video. Hah good stuff. I’m even more sold now.
These small profile hitboxes are really cool. How do you find palm placement? Do you rest them on your lap or hover? Are you going to review the Mpress?
Thanks for watching! I just rest my palms on my legs. The Micro is thin enough that my wrists aren't in an uncomfortable position. As for the MPress, if Paradise sends me one, I will definitely review it!
Hey sujano. Are the buttons bigger than the original hitbox .. a friend of mine let me borrow his hit box and I was skeptical at first but after long hours of practice.. I am officially a fan .. but the only thing is the buttons are to small for my big hands.. so I really like micro hitbox but are the buttons bigger? LoL if not do you have a recommendation
Can you explain the full extent of the customizable leds? When I imagine using this I’d probably want to light up each button a different color, is this possible?
How do you think this thing handles slide inputs? For instance with 360/720 degree motions, some games accept just the cardinal directions without diagonals so hitbox have shown off that you can literally zip your finger across the buttons. Try it with Sanwa switches...it feels pretty good and works well. Think we can do that with these buttons?
Can you please explain how you run over multiple keyboards / controllers with a car? If your not doing it on purpose, I would love to know how that was done. Lol.
Will you be reviewing the MPress as well? I am very curious about it. The larger size might solve the wrist space issue you mentioned but the price is a little more than the micro.
would this be recommended for someone with bad carpel tunnel? been trying to find a new input to help with it my hands have got so bad i might be having surgery soon
I've always wanted to use a hitbox and was really tempted with this... I would be wanting to use on an Xbox series X going forward though, I'm a bit confused with converters though... Anyone got this working with a converter on Xbox yet? I'm not sure what I would need to buy? Great review I really enjoyed this video
Looks like it has the same issue I have with my regular hitbox, only having a single of the giant "up" buttons at the bottom. I just don't understand why the hitbox isn't designed with a button for both of my thumbs, rather then making me share one button between them both such that one of my strong, accurate, thumbs is always being wasted doing nothing, while I'm forced to use my weaker, less accurate ring finger for precise inputs, I'd probably buy it in an instant. I love the hit box concept, that really is my only complaint with it, but it is a big one, I don't see why you wouldn't have a button for both thumbs, it seems like a flawed design. To be clear, I still use my hitbox more then my numerous 250+ dollar fight sticks or my not nearly so expensive game pads, its just because I use it that I constantly feel the lack of that second thumb button.
@@aarono8979 I can see that, but it doesn't necessarily have to be bound to up, could just be another button available for binding. For instance I could bind the left "up" button to actual up, but the right 'up' button to light kick such that I can easily hit light punch and light kick at the same time in SF to do a throw with out the need to even move my right hand, just for one game specific example. Either way thank you for the thoughts!
