Time and time again I am told that Six Flags Fiesta Texas is the best park out of the entire Franchise. Today we have our first day of our trip out to Texas and we will find out just what makes this park so great. In this video we show off our experience as first timers at Fiesta Texas and what kind of waits you can expect to see if you decide to check this park out his summer!! We did all this while adding to our coaster credit list.

Hello welcome to my home park of six flags fiesta Texas. So for Wonder Woman they are getting the second gen trains, we are getting new theming and just making the ride smoother. But I can tell you the park is teasing something for 2024 in the boardwalk section and pandemonium might leave now.

We learned pretty quick after moving to San Antonio and becoming season pass holders at SFFT that it's not worth it to go right at opening. You wait to be able to drive in and park. Then you wait for rope drop. Then not all rides are open right away. Boardwalk doesnt open until 1pm. Better to roll in closer to noon imo. Shouldn't be that way, like you should be able to hop in right at opening and ride what you want to ride before lines form but yeah.

It really depends on what days you go to the park. The last time I went I got there at 10:30 on a Sunday and everything was up and running aside from Iron Rattler which they were having issues with one seat not locking properly so after 30mins of fiddling with it just decided to only run 1 train for the rest of the day.

Definitely came on the wrong day and wrong season :( Sadly weekends are the only time the park feels like it’s at full speed operating. Hope you come back after the 2023 & 2024 attractions are built!

Honestly even with the crowds being light the park wasn’t operating that bad as the day went on. But there was definitely a very slow start as most stuff took until 2 ish to start running at a normal operating speed.

This park is not better than Sixflags Great Adventure. I dont know what he's smoking. These rides at this park is not all of that. Iron Rattler is not better than the New Texas Giant, for one the length is too short. New Texas Giant is longer in length and has more airtime hills that Iron Rattler. Superman Tower of power is taller than their Screams Tower ride. Titan and Mr. Freeze is more powerful than any rollercoaster Fiesta Texas have. The only ride I see that may beat Sixflags over Texas is their Joker swing ride which is 170 feet tall compared to Riddlers Revenge 143 feet tall and their Road runner mine train coaster. Every body keeps talking about the back drop of the quarry wall, which is nice to look at, but that to me doesn't make the park better than any other park. Take out the quarry wall and this park won't be getting the hype it gets. Because the ride collection is not all of that. What do you think of my comment.

For me it’s operations. This park at least in my particular visit was ran way better than any of my visits to great adventure or my visit to over texas. Both of which have terrible operations. And as far as up keep of the attractions at the park fiesta Texas takes the cake all coasters are nicely maintained where as great adventure and over texas have tons of coasters that are screaming for at least a new coat of paint. Just overall the parks looks nicer and is better maintained. Attraction collection is not everything when it comes to a good park sometimes just showing that you care by keeping what you have well maintained means more than having “better” rides. Also New Texas Giant is painfully boring I’m sorry that layout is not it.

@@HallowedThrills Well what do you think of Nitro. I'm a floater airtime kind of guy and Nitro is the best hyper coaster to me compared to Diamondback, Goliath ( SFOG ) Raging Bull. Mako at SeaWorld Orlando maybe neck and neck with Nitro. Both are fun. And it's not about the layout of a coaster, it's what the coaster can deliver as far as thrills. New Texas Giant may not be as intense as some of the other RMC coasters but it delivered enough airtime thrills, turns, and tunnels and enough length that I was satisfied with it more than short Iron Rattler.

I love nitro! See my thing is I expect different things out of different types of coaster models and when i ride an RMC I expect to get ripped out of my seat and have non stop elements and I didn’t really get that with new texas giant it just wasn’t for me. But yes nitro is one of my favorite b&m hypers
