worst port numbers (only 2), no thunderbolt, screen is not bright enough, no extra ssd or hdd slot (only 1 ssd 512 GB so upgrade possible only via replacement), battery size/life sucks, only 45W 4060, no nvidia optimus, no mux switch, terrible hinge design, no RGB I must have been drunk when i bought this laptop. Dont buy this crap at any price. Only thing good about this laptop is the 40 series card and low weight, but sucks otherwise
is that bad bro? i’m upgrading from a 1050ti mobile… living in a shit country, this and the TUF A16 with RX7700S are my only options. But i’m looking for RTX
@@user-kz9nb9br1b if your options are limited i guess there's no workaround. the worst points about this laptop were storage upgradability (512 gb no extra slots) and usb ports + (check the other points i mentioned). If you are good with the provided specs for cyborg and want a little less lightweight non-gamey laptop look and more professional office look laptop then can go with cyborg as the rtx 4060 can handle anything you throw at it, despite having low wattage. Best.
Not sure if you forgot to mention it or maybe I wasnt paying attention but the 4050 in this laptop is also capped at a low 45 watts. This GPU has the ability to utilize 115 watts max. So this GPU may not perform as well as other 4050 GPUs. Besides that, nice review
@@barbarossa6056 So if a GPU or CPU is capped at a lower wattage that just means its not going to be able to perform to it’s maximum potential. They usually do this if they wanna put a higher end component inside a thinner chassis
Quick question, why do reviewers always let us listen to the sound? How could we possibly get a nice representation of sound going through their mic and then compressed and out our tiny phone speakers?
Thank you .. I was planning to buy this laptop but after I watched your video I cancelled it so if you can recommend for me good laptop with 1000 budget for design and games
Is it possible to install a new display with great color reproduction and higher brightness if I want to do the upgrade later with at least 120Hz refresh rate.
I'd love to build a PC, but unfortunately don't have much room to set one up at the moment & thus am opting to get a laptop. The game I generally play the most, is 'World of Warcraft' and I was curious at what the best gaming-laptop for that would be? 🤔
Me too I was planning to buy this laptop but after I watched your video I cancelled it so if you can recommend for me good laptop with 1000 budget for design and games
Next time get a laptop with just a CPU or a GPU and a CPU but one with a mux switch. Even 3000 euro gaming laptops have this schitty battery life. i know cuz my bro owns two expensive gaming laptops.
Hi , I recently bought this laptop and I am facing some issues with it like it takes a lot of loading time. Iam not talking about game instead iam talking about the overall performance of the laptop. I feel like it is performing much slower then it should. I have not ran a single game on it uptil now, please advise if you have any suggestions to make it perform faster and better.
Upgrade ram to 16gb ram or 32gb ram. Also set this Laptop on performance mode in Bios and Nvidea Control panel. also set Control panel Physics on the 4060. And enable resize bar.
I got the 12vf003 at launch next to my RX7800xt Nitro + Desktop build. And its been pretty good so far. Positives 4060 45watt ( yes 45watt still with resize bar its pretty good performance overal ) i7 chip i changed the 512gb m.2 to 4tb m.2 16gb ram might change it to 32gb also people hating Build quality but i got this one over Katana and GF cuz those felt horrible in store, so i went with the 45watt version cuz the Cyborg build felt better. Also for better colors enable Windows Auto color management. Makes it a whole lot better to look at. Also update the BIOS day one. i never had stutter issues. Just put everything on performance like Nvidea control panel power options and msi center. With resize bar enabled its running pretty much any new game at almost highest settings.
Super thin ???? 😂😂😂 Why do we need that for . All we need is not to get hot and burn in time of long performance . More super thin will be , more faster will burn . I will be happy not to get that thin in the shop , but to be able to use for long time . And not after one year to buy another , and another one etc .If is all about ventilation , why do we need that thine for ? 😂😂😂
