In this episode after nearly 12 months, we go through the final stages of our custom plate boat build and then reveal the finished product! After getting the bulk of the fabrication done with Jacko from Mezcal in the last episode, we’ve added a few more custom bits and pieces before hotworks wrapped up including custom console, steps, casting cages, bar work, bait board etc. Then we chase the boat around to Newcastle Yamaha to get the outboard fitted. RedDog Canvas works his magic to template and install some custom Deck Armour flooring. The Sign Shop whipped us up a sick branded wrap. Then to finish it all off Jacko builds us a fully custom off-road drive on/off Mezzy Sled trailer because the standard little off the lot trailer just wasn’t gonna cut it.
Massive thanks to everyone involved in the build! The finished product is more than we ever imagined. We’re beyond stoked with how it all turned out and would do it a million times over. Now it’s time to get out and put it to use, keep an eye out for a heap of boating/touring/fishing content from here on.
