One of the very best, such a good horseman. His ride on Harchibald drew a lot of criticism but in actual fact Harchibald did very well to get in front of Brave Inca that day knowing what a battler he was in winning the champion hurdle a year later.

Spot on mate…jockey hugely overrated…just sat on every horse and made many a fuck up many times trying to look cool but they dont show you those…jamie spencer of the jumps…so many blinkered idiots from ireland thought he was a god 🤣

@@deano007 If u knew anything at all about racing you'd know that the quieter & calmer a jockey is on board his mount that confidence is transferred 2 the horse (horses can sense negative/nervous energy from the jockey & can react 2 this) anyone in the know would tell u that Paul Carberry was one of the best horsemen of his generation & I'm sure all his peers of the time would agree.
