Is this the fastest sinking midge larva? In this fly tying tutorial, Curtis ties a simple yet effective fly that will get down fast. The Bomb-Drop Midge Larva can be fished on its own euro nymphing, or as a dropper on a dry dropper rig. The trout won't leave this fly alone. Try this midge larva pattern on your favorite river in different colors to match the midges in your area. This fly pattern will work all year round so make sure to have a few in your fly box at all times.

After watching this video I tied up a few of these. Today I was able to get on the water to give them a try - 💥 3rd cast, then another on cast 10! Thanks for sharing this one - works like a charm!! 🎣

It doesn't have a profile anything like a midge larva. If that is not a pure attractor I don't know what is.

We present. A midge attractor. We’ll send you a royalty check

If I have to fish anything smaller than a size 18, I'm fishing streamers instead

When is someone going to speak up and be honest? The fish are going after the beads not the thin little bodies behind them! It basically an egg pattern, literally the size of a trout, sucker or minnow egg!

I’ll be honest. You are so right. So. Right. If trout eat eggs naturally you are matching the hatch. Sick!!!!

“If” trout eat eggs is “WHEN” trout eat eggs. Do your research kids, trout eat eggs. And this fly is an egg.
