@tobibaka9395 Actually, I can fully understand this one. When I have to stay strong, I can't let anyone comfort me until it's over, or I'll break down in tears, and just crumple. So, for instance, when my young son was in hospital, my husband knew not to to comfort me in my son's room, because my tears would scare my son.

Here in UK we have health and hygiene inspections periodic. Seems like in the States, anyone can open a restaurant with pretty much no experience and run it like a skip with food in it.

I wouldnt eat there. Sit down, look around and walk back out. When im paying for food i want the restaraunt even cleaner then my home. Go out and pay 25 bucks for something i can make at home for 5 bucks so better be clean and taste good. Been 5 yrs since i went out to eat, sick of dirty restaraunts, shitty food and horrible service. Seems even high end restaraunts use pre cooked pre measured food from a factory. Heat and serve mass produced garbage at a premium price.

What I don’t get is why restaurants don’t need to go through a yearly health inspection. If not yearly maybe 2-3 yearly

In the UK, it’s yearly. Local authorities are responsible for sending inspectors round any business that sells food prepared on the premises. Standards are pretty high and the inspectors have the authority to close businesses down if their advice or warnings aren’t heeded.

In Quebec, the ministery of agriculture and food has to inspect and investigate restaurants. Every 3 to 4 months an inspector has to come inspect and gives a note to the restaurant and gives feedbacks on whats good and what needs to be improved. Also, customers can fill complaints and ask the authorities to inspect if they feel something is wrong. Restaurants like this one would be shot down by the MAPAQ after 3 months lol.

Most places get inspected every 90 days. But, that changes state to state. I believe that should be a national thing. If a restaurant doesn't get an 80 or better they will come back in thirty days for a follow up. 70 or below can get a restaurant closed if they don't make the changes required.

I would close the restaurant and put the restaurant owners in jail, instead of helping them to "think and do right", when they are adults. And they serve old disgusting food to their customers. 🤮 🍽

Remove the stoves and fryers. Once outside soak in degreaser then pressure wash. Keep soaking in degreaser and pressure washing until looks new. A good stainless polish. Before replacing gut the kitchen and all new. Spending just 20 grand and a week of hard work sure can change a place. Grease traps cleaned the same way as stoves with degreaser and pressure wash. No need to spend thousands when a day of pressure washing can make like new.

Don't Health & Safety do random spot check say twice a year! They'd close thus down IMMEDIATELY! They'd be given a chance to clean up properly and be inspected. Then they get a current Certificate they can hang on He wall. Some do fall through the net but if I visited I'd report it immediately! This place was rancid in every area. Couldn't they see it and what health hazard it was. Makes you sick. They handle the stuff too! Unbelievable!

Im AMUSED by all episodes. Isnt there a Ministry of health, or a national environment agency, in these countries ? Im sorry, but im surprised that none had FOOD POISONING WHICH MAY CAUSE SERIOUS HEALTH ISSUES, OR EVEN RISK OF LIFE ! WHY DOSENT THE HIGHER RELEVANT AUTHORITY, DOES A ANUAL CHECK !? asian kitchens are dirtier and less frequently updated , a restaurant that has been running for 30 years might have some old furniture and peeling wallpaper. To me , this TV show seems to playing in on the "woke" culture, customers looking for little things , prob. this mom and pop restaurant got paid to co-operate and let things exaggerate a bit before the big renewal. thats all . entertainment tv, nothing serious
