Man after seeing the whole experience of building out your custom Tron figure and then the final reveal? I kind of think $90 is worth the price of admission. Way more value than the Reaction figures IMO.

$100 for the build your own Tron figure is priced perfectly! Everything else is way too expensive. I absolutely love that custom Tron figure.

Cool Tron Giftshop video, Dan, thanks! That is cool they include the solid arcade cabinet for the $90 custom figure too. The Tron figures from Reaction, I wish those were sold at retailers, but thanks for the news that Disney bought the entire line. Disney unfortunately, is over-pricing their giftshop items beyond what most people want to reasonably pay for action figures/gifts/trinkets. $25 per figure, $60 and up per most items will make them shelf-warmers more often.

Next time you do go Disney World, you might want to check the Disney Character Warehouse. It's an official Disney outlet store, there's one about five minutes from Disney property. A lot of things that sell in the park can be found there, and not just the parks in Florida.

Great video, I laughed so hard during the photos and your comments after each one 😂, that aside totally worth $90.00 to have that experience, the box, and the figure. That music too when it hit as the figure rose was epic! I always enjoyed the TRON legacy soundtrack and listened to it the whole time I was at Disney world when then had the monorail with TRON decals thinking man I wish they had a TRON ride. The time has come to go back when I can afford it

I have to admit, I like the build your own Tron figure. Although I would like it better as a Mego style figure nothing beats the presentation. The way you scan your face and voice and have them play back. Excellent. Great video. I just subscribed. Thank you.

Reactions are ridiculously priced. Never bought one out of principle. Don't think I've bought an S7 product to date yet. Sometimes it's just hard to see the value in their stuff.

I got a chance to customize a Tron figure last year and thought it was a fun and unique experience. I agree some of the merch at the park is way overpriced. You can always make a custom Avatar figure at animal kingdom. Neat experience too but not nearly as many options nor is it as immersive as the Tron customs figure. Great video dude.

Very cool! I enjoyed T:L, but felt the suit designs strayed too far from the designs in the original film. Hope the upcoming Tron sequel will feature a better hybrid of the newer and classic designs.

I live near the parks and last year they were doing a 30 percent off discount for passholders. so, I stocked up on all the Super7 stuff all at once and glad I did. The normal price is way steep.

5:07 Yeah because it's $89.99 and anywhere else its $60 🤣. 14:40 She's kinda right though. Plus you KNOW the secondary market prices will be even more then these due to the exclusivity of these AND that Super7 isn't doing Disney stuff anymore either. That electronic Tron figure is bananas, at least that chip can be used for other things and such too. Yeah those Super7 Reactions are definitely a tough pill to swallow at 20, 24 bucks is definitely pushing it. Only way to justify it is that they literally are only at Disney World and Super7 won't be making more of them ever again. Fun episode Dan! 🎉

When I was at Disney in August last year I spent an hour in that Tron shop deliberating about what Tron stuff I wanted to buy. It was all sooo expensive and it broke my heart. I wanted everything and came out with doodads and tchochkies and a tshirt that makes me itch :(

Well this was surpriseing. I occasionally like watching Disney park fan vlogs, but they usually brush off the toys. Really enjoyed Dans perspective, I have heard that the back of the lightcycle run is an ideal position so it feels more like a race. So that was lucky. I saw Knowhere toys booth at Retro Toy con had these reaction figures, and was sticker shocked by the price but that's really a $70 light cycle in the park. *derezzed* One way of looking at it. Is they are exclusive, out of production, and still cheaper than collecting vintage Tron figures.

I too am shocked at the Tron love considering they've all been kinda flops. I think it's a bit like Metroid with Nintendo. Almost none of the games have done very well but Tron/Metroid have much a loyal fanbase that Disney and Nintendo support them despite not being mainstream success. I'm not a Disney guy myself but I am a Tron guy and I'd love to make it out there one day just for the ride and all of the cool merch.

The figure is already made. It’s not like hasbro where they’re sculpting your face via machine from a picture. It’s just putting a picture & sound on a chip. $25 would be fair, but that’s not realistic. $50 is plenty but it’s Disney so I know they’re gonna charge $90. Is that reasonable? No.
