Well, Jesus wasn't white, and he also had his beard ripped out according to scripture, both old and new testaments advise that his beard would be removed and thus cause his appearance to be marred, just as Isaiah 52:14 prophesied. That is absolutely the face of our Lord Jesus Christ. I seen him in a dream . He lives. Please believe me . I was new coming back to my faith and going through terrible times and I was praying and doing bible study fervently, when I had a dream . He was sitting there in a white tunic robe. I asked if he was going to keep letting them hurt me, note I was talking of fellow humans, and he said yes. My reaction to the realistic figure of the body is similar to my reaction at viewing The Passion of The Christ - heartbreaking. In Sunday School and church services, we never saw such realism, and only minimal depictions of the violence done to his body. IF the shroud is not a true relic of Jesus, and IF the figure is not an accurate depiction of what He really looked like, at the VERY least it reminds us of how much He suffered for all of us.

what you said is categorically false. There are multiple peer reviewed studies proving that the sample tested was from a medieval repair, i.e, not part of the original shroud. Also, the raw data that the British Museum refused to divulge for 30 years, shows that the “scientists” not only abandoned every single agreed upon testing protocol, but they deliberately fudged the data to get the date that they wanted. They also received a million British pounds from an anonymous group for saying that it was fake-look it up. I strongly suggest that you do more research
That was one carbon dating data point, and it was later found to be flawed. I'd recommend a research deep dive on this. There's been pollen from Palestinian plants found on it, the image on it is a photo negative, the image is imprinted extremely lightly into the actual fabric via a certain type of radiation (not a method that we can reproduce now, let alone several hundred or a thousand years ago)...there's other important pieces of evidence.
@@redeemedchannel5580 and yet, there hasn't been any tests of any other portions of the shroud to date it earlier or to verify that the fibers tested were actually from a medieval repair job. And if you're going to claim scientists intentionally fabricated the evidence, you have to prove that. What I said is verifiably accurate. What you're saying is what's false, or at the very least, unverified claims. Like I said, I want to believe. But coming at me with unverified claims and conspiracy theories isn't going to do that. The hard EVIDENCE says it's from the medieval period. You need equally hard evidence to refute that, and that evidence doesn't exist. If the shroud is genuine, why not test a different portion that hasn't been repaired? The shroud owner's reluctance to do that doesn't bode well for the artifact's authenticity

Peter tried to shift the responsibility on to others, and Jesus said, No, who do you say I am, and Peter's witness and answer was amazing. This is good that it is being shown because many witnesses will come, and its one witness, even when they differ, will lead to agreement, and people will stop arguing with each other. My Heart sank and I was moved to tears the instant they showed the statue, and I was convicted in my soul "this is Jesus" And how can it be that it would be any other person when they can't figure out how the shroud was made, and when the description of His death is just as we see it here but even though crucifixion was typical in those times, crowning people with thorns was not - this was particular to Jesus because they claimed him king of the Jews. The shroud is not only evidence of God the Father's great sacrifice of love, but also the resurrection of His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. The image on the shroud was not created by the hand of man, but by the act of bodily resurrection. A new study overseen by Dr. Liberato de Caro of Italy’s Institute of Crystallography of the National Research Council, in Bari has concluded that the Shroud of Turin dates to the first century. In a report published on the website of Italy’s Department of Chemical Sciences and Materials Technologies, de Caro outlined the “Wide-Angle X-ray Scattering” or WAXS method they used, which measures the structural degradation due to natural aging of the cellulose that makes up the fibers of the linen threads. This process, which is non-destructive, was used on a variety of historical textiles which have well-documented ages, and then compared to the Shroud of Turin; the best match was with a piece of fabric from ca. AD 55-74 known to have come from the siege of Masada in Israel. The new dating contradicts the 1988 carbon-14 test of fabric threads from the shroud, which dated the relic to the Middle Ages. Critics have long pointed out that that test was flawed, as it came from an area of the fabric that was repaired in the Middle Ages. The new study also notes that ancient textiles can become contaminated with substances over time that could distort carbon-14 results. The new findings show that the fabric of the Shroud of Turin originated at the time of Christ.

I journeyed to heaven in June 2020 to stand before the 12 stone blocks and the light above them. I passed into another realm and was asked to sit on the steps of a throne. God had created a portal for me with his massive hand in the sky because once before he had rescued me from the pit of hell to have me deliver a message for mankind. A simple message, in fact. I didn't see the face and body of Jesus at first, just his light as he lit each of the 12 stone blocks from within to indicate it was a passage. The inscribed text was different bit I welcomed there as if I never left. You must lose your guilt. You must have faith, believe in what you know is true in your heart. Your heart is your power, it is your brain your mind, your life here and beyond. I didnt see Jesus Christ until 2024, he called me to see his face, his garb and adornments and radiant hair and eyes. To be in his presence is a special feeling indeed. More recently he parted the skies and came to me upon a white horse. He had an angel with him but it was a quick reminder of the challenges that await us all. Again, we must just keep our faith.

I greatly enjoy the growing evidence of the shroud's authenticity. The one thing that bothers me is why are no two scourge marks superimposed? t would seem unlikely that a thorough helter-skelter flogging would so cleanly miss all other scourge marks. Is there any explanation for this? Otherwise from the pattern of scourge marks it does appear that the victim was hoisted by his hands during the flogging. This would explain the lack of scourge marks on the forearms. and the availability of the body for 360° scrouging.
Only we as his followers will know what he looks like once we get into Heaven. Praise to be The Glory of God, deliver us from this world. No amount of science can truly uncover what he looks like, despite all the artifacts we see now in modern history.
Revelation 1:14-15 offers a clue that Jesus's skin was a darker hue and that his hair was woolly in texture. The hairs of his head, it says, "were white as white wool, white as snow. His eyes were like a flame of fire, his feet were like burnished bronze, refined as in a furnace.”
Not correct. I recently watched a video that gave the description of Christ from the writings of a Roman who saw him. He wasn't a follower. He just saw him in passing a few times and he argued that Jesus wasn't an enemy of Rome and that if anything he was an enemy of the Jews. His main descriptions were of Jesus having blonde hair and a beard. So it would appear that Jesus was white and had a beard, but they got the hair color wrong.
Anyone that is so concerned about what Jesus looked like needs to reevaluate their relationship with Him. Regardless of His skin tone, facial features, height, hair color, eye color or any other features..... He took the sins of the world on his shoulders and went to the cross. He was the ultimate sacrifice to reconcile man with God. I couldn't care less if He was purple with pink polka dots, He's still my Savior and He ALWAYS will be!
Do people not understand that Jesus was born in the middle east 2000 years ago? He would have been middle eastern, in the region of Judea. As a 1st century Jew he would have had features of the Semitic peoples of that geographical region at the time and place of his birth i.e. Olive to darker skin. Not the white European featured depiction of Western influenced renaissance art.
This is indeed true ,please read revaltions 1:12-15 12 I turned around to see the voice that was speaking to me. And when I turned I saw seven golden lampstands, 13 and among the lampstands was someone like a son of man,[d] dressed in a robe reaching down to his feet and with a golden sash around his chest. 14 The hair on his head was white like wool, as white as snow, and his eyes were like blazing fire. 15 His feet were like bronze glowing in a furnace, and his voice was like the sound of rushing waters. 16 In his right hand he held seven stars, and coming out of his mouth was a sharp, double-edged sword. His face was like the sun shining in all its brilliance.
@@giangamesofficial7947 You seem to have a bit of Biblical ignorance. There is nowhere in the Bible where it describes how Jesus looked as a living breathing man. You are very confused obviously. You're talking about the description of his _glorified_ body. Not how he looked on Earth! Duh! The fact that Judas had to kiss him to identify him meant that Jesus looked like the typical Jew of those times, which is how many Middle Eastern people, especially Syrians and Lebanese look. They have light brown skin, not black and certainly not like brass in a furnace which glows red-white hot. The description in Revelation is the same as the Transfiguration. A glowing Jesus walking in Jerusalem would have frightened everyone.
My blessed Lord. The Lamb of God. My Savior. He was beaten, mocked tortured, and nailed to the Cross and took onto himself the sins of all the world. Especially the sins of the nonbelievers. Why is this so remarkable!!! Everyone knows who did this and no one says anything about it!!!! Believe what you will but that is not Jesus Christ cloth!!!!
Wrong. Everyone with a working brain that has spent even as little as 30 minutes on studying the Holy Shroud knows very well that it is not a fake. But if you really and truly think that it was someone _other_ than Jesus in it, would you care to explain why? I have a feeling that you will not.
You have a legitimate wish and, at the same time, there's already plenty of evidence that true science has brought forward and that solidly points to the man in the Shroud to be Jesus Christ and no one else. Still, God respects the Free Will that he gave us and will not suppress it by overwhelming us into belief. Jesus showed his divine glory in the Transfiguration to Apostles that were ready to see it through the daily Faith in him. Even then, Jesus did not overwhelm them by transfigurating every other week or every month, etc. Pray for your Free Will and that of the whole of humanity to turn in Faith to the Real Jesus. We receive him through Faith, as even some of those who saw him in the flesh decided believing in him would make them highly responsible for their lives and they did not want to be. REAL Faith has deep, life changing consequences.
