Thank you for showing the E32 some love! 1988 750il owner here. Just an FYI the problem with the early M60 V8s was the high sulphur gas in use at the time. BMW spent millions replacing the engines. The window for replacing these engines expired decades ago. The USA has long since switched to lower sulphur fuel so the Nikasil issue with the M60 no longer an issue. M30 inline six was in service from 1968 until 1993. Very reliable and easy to maintain engines. Late M30 inline sixes had an extremely rare issue of cracking its cylinder head.
Beautiful e32! I had an Alpine white short wheel base. Sold it with over 220k on it and it still ran great. Miss the smell of that leather. The "arm rest" area on those front door panels flip up for a hiding spot. lol
Nice, Bob! I had an e32 1990 750iL for about 10 years but the electronics and hydraulic system started getting out of hand for the value of the car. The 750 v12s are bit of a different animal than the 735s. But, then, the e32 7 series was quite a different animal from anything else at the time. I, now, have a 1990 535i e34 and it is much easier to work on than the e32s. Thanks for bringing this to us, Bob!
Spectacular. Had a white E32 1990 750iL 12-cyl in Denver USA. Bought used with 100,000 miles on it. Enjoyed it, was a lovely car, but spent a ton of money on continuous repairs, parts and maintenance. Endless money pit, gas-guzzler, always in the shop, so sadly had to sell it.
Bob. My mom's best friend had this exact car but in champagne and a 1989. I was 15 in 1990 ( when the car was 1 year old) and she let me drive it all over. In 1991 when I was 16 (car was 2 years old) she let me take it out for the day!! I was in heaven. The L makes that car.
Lovely car. I had an E32 750i way back when. Still the best looking 7 series. Not sure what happened to BMW styling and design, the E32 and the E38 were the pinnacle of design. After that the wheels came off the car.
My grandma has one of these in her garage still looks brand new just some dust on it she won't drive it anymore me my dad and uncle are fighting for it 😂have been for years
