Damn that is the definition of wrapper fresh! Normally I would say drive the car and enjoy it, but I would just keep this original and store it as a collectable given it is literally brand new from 1991!

I've always loved these cars since high school. I can't remember the last time I've seen a VR4 on the road, even more rare than a well-kept Fox body 5.0 which have disappeared as well.
A perfectly clean, red 91 with 4,700 miles sold at Mecum Auctions for $42,000. I can imagine this car bring such a rare color combo would easily bring $50+K to the right buyer at the right auction. An absolute gem.
I think since it’s so old update things that need updated, maintenance wise, then enjoy it a little, hold onto it or sell it whatever your heart desires.
That’s an amazing color combination, the interior color compliments the Jamaican Blue exterior color. In the last 3 to 4 years what did you do with the car? Did you change out all the fluids since you got it? Did you keep the mileage ultra low? Hope so that’s a Gem 💎 Let me know if you ever want to sell it? Please do some more updates. Bless you.
Yes, 1991 was definitely the best/coolest. Color is rare & awesome.. Check out the rare movie from 93, The Hit List, if you can. Guy drives a blue 91..
Amazing review of one of the greatest vehicles ever created. You found most likely one of the last ones under 1k miles in the street and not in a showroom. Enjoy that experience. It's going to change your life. I'm sure that would felt $70k+ in a auction.
Nice walk around video and you did a good job describing the 3/S platform. Only thing I can correct you on is I don't think that 91 VR4 has a six disc changer in the trunk. Wasn't offered in 91 with that head unit.
I’ve owned 4 of these. A 91, 92, 96 and a 98. Fun cars, but the maintenance on ‘em gets old. All of them had intake to throttle body seal issues. And all except the 98’ needed one or more water pumps to be replaced on each model. All of the 4 I owned had coolant leaks. All were running at least 17 lbs of boost. I liked them all, just not very dependable, especially when modded
Now U just need a 1G Eclipse, Starion, FTO, and of course an EVO N then UR all set. Damn 405 miles?!??! Bet even the concept cars have more miles than that(where the hell are the concept cars kept at anyways?).
haha very true! Those are definitely on the list! Too bad garage space is harder to find than those cars at the moment. As for the concept cars....that would be a great episode idea!
4:43 Drive the piss outta it! Cars are meant to be driven, I'd rather see a really nice car with low miles and a few rock chips than a brand new, never driven example. I wouldn't hold it against you for keeping it
