Wow any REAL DSMers dream. Gotta say I'm a little jealous but over all nice to know there's others out there trying to keep the spirit of DSM alive now you need a VR4 Galant! I subbed to your channel after seeing this vid. I also own a lightly abused but super clean Bright White 95 Eagle Talon TSI AWD lightly modded, 127,000 original miles so a little high but stays garaged and only comes out on nice days, car shows, and autocross events. Will be doing a up to date vid on her before the summers over of 2019

Buying myself a 99 GST Shell in pretty similar condition to yours, swapping my goodies into it, gonna be sweet. Also has the silver exterior with the black leather interior.

How can you not drive them!?! I own a 97 eclipse GSX with 80k on it, a 92 eagle talon tsi AWD with 100k on it, another 92 talon tsi awd with 110k on it, a 97 eclipse GST spyder with 112k on it plus have another 92 talon awd shell and 98 talon awd I'm putting together....I drive the hell out of all the ones that run........4 lol. DSM's 4 life!

I currently own a heavily modified 93 Eagle Talon TSi/AWD and just picked up a fairly clean 92 Dodge Stealth R/T Twin Turbo. The Stealth will be lightly modded, cleaned up and will primarily be a weekend driver. So I can feel understand the Mitsubishi/DSM love. I'd like to find some more cars to add to my collection, but unfortunately..I barely have room for what I've got.

Let me educate you on the 4g63 that is in the dsm. It is only in the EVO 1-3 and after that it was changed to right side timing components as well as a redesigned oil drain setup and redesigned bearings. The evo 4-9 while still having a 4g63 is a different 4g63 than the early models. The oil passages are much better designed in the evo heads and that is why the evo engine is more desirable.

Nice story regarding the elderly lady. I bought my second Eclipse this year and the owner was saddened to let it go but I told him I'm going to tweak it.

You got some beautiful cars bro! Not something you see much of is an eclipse let alone one that isn't trashed let alone two of them next to a 3000gt vr4 spider!!!! When I graduated from high school I bought a brand spanking new GS-T with literally 12 miles on it. It was white with the big wang, lol I drove it around 80 miles back to my house and two miles from my driveway a huge deer jumped off of a hill to cross the street and I caught it just about where the rear view mirror is on the windshield at around 60ish. Destroyed the roof air bags went off all the glass broke and the doors would not open from it being bent so much. Had buckles in the quarter panels, just a sad mess basically cuz the deer didn't make it and my car did not either. Didn't even get it home and it was totaled! Had insurance of course but went to get another one and the sales man was such a dick because I was a young kid, that I ended up getting a GSR Integra from the Honda dealership instead. I got in a bad crash when I was younger and got some money from that so I was paying cash for the cars and the sales guy more then one actually basically ignored me and was just rude when they did speak so that was why I went with the acura second go round. Don't judge a book by it's cover cuz u never know who has a backpack full of hundreds to spend !! LoL not that anyone wanted to hear all of this but your cars brought me back to 2000 and the fun days! LoL

I'm the 2nd owner of a 95 Eagle Talon TSI AWD (December of 94) with 61k original miles. She is not 100% stock but I try to keep it clean.

One idea think b gr8 2 add 2 these vidz is interview each of the original owners of da cars so we get 2 know a lil more of it's past...especially the GS-T older lady.

Right now as a former Galant VR4 owner I would like to correct you on your saying at about 2:45 when you said it’s the same motor as the VR4, and that is very wrong. The Galant VR4 (USDM only actually) obtained the 1g DSM 6 bolt 4g63t. The 2g DSM and evo 1-6 got the 7 bolt 4g63t as pictured in that car. Also the 2g didn’t come with the EPROM ECU that 1g DSMs and Galant VR4s got. I had #404/1000 for a good while and learned quite a bit. I’ll give someone a high five if they can tell me what year VR4 I had.

You would think the value on these things would go up bcz of the popularity, but they are just a "dime a dozen".............. I have had several DSM's, in chronological order, 97 Dodge Avenger v6, 00 Dodge Avenger v6, 96 Dodge Avenger I4 w/ 5 speed (very rare), 95 Eagle Talon ESI same as 96 Avenger, still have it but sitting weathering away at a friend house, 99 Eclipse GST stripped of good parts due to terminal cancer/rust, crushed, and transferred good parts to my now 97 Eclipse GST. Never had a GSX, thought about converting my GST but decided not worth it due to practicality, easier to buy one already built from factory.

When one gsx isn't enough you go and ask your parents for another one
