@@the_halofanb0y 12 years since playable elites were removed. That’s my favourite feature so every multiplayer that comes out feels like it’s sub par without them to me. Also people have been asking for this for so long and 343 continually ignores us. I don’t want to support a franchise that doesn’t support me.
Agreed. Luckily, I was smart enough not to pay for anything beyond the game itself... I wish I could get back 3/4 of the money I spent on it for the lack of the 3/4 of the game they gave us.

Not how it works, 1) 343 was created to develop halo, best they can do is leave individually and join other developers elsewhere, 2) 343 are not and have never been the problem with Halo.. that would be Microsoft, 3) Bungie literally abandoned Halo, that’s how much they cared about it, and that’s why we’re in the situation we’re in, there’s no ‘give Halo back to bungie’ because they don’t want it, and if they did, pretty much all bungie members who actually worked on Halo are no longer with bungie now anyway.
343 doesn't care about Halo, and they've made me feel the same. What does it matter if they make a new Halo? You know full well they're just going to do the same BS they did with Infinite.

Why the fuck would they push MCC on other consoles right after shutting down MCC support in general. Makes no sense. You'd want to push more efforts there with new seasons that aren't vikings and then get the Xbox playerbase back as well.
At this point, there's been more disappointing Halo games than there have been great Halo games. There's a whole generation growing up with subpar Halo titles. I don't think Halo is going to sell by name alone for much longer.

I already uninstalled Infinite last week. Unless its actual real content im not redownloading, no amount of new forge maps is gonna cut it. I want new guns, vehicle's. Something new Not new armour, maps, slightly changed modes. My guess is there will be nothing
Those four games that built xbox deserve more love and respect from the people at microsoft. Even if they have 100 franchises now, you owe those 4 so much for the heavy lifting they did. They carried your asses and bailed you out of the messes you constantly made. To turn your back on them is extremely disrespectful.
Look the next halo game should conclude master chiefs story he doesn’t need to die but he could finish the game going to a training facilities for the other Spartans it means they don’t need to keep the story going with all of the backstory of chief and can have a new character or characters
You have to have contractors to develop games these days. Every company outsources part of their development or brings in temp resources when ramping up on major projects.

Unless there is some sort of secret side project being made by a third party studio that's been in the works for years, I see no reason to expect Halo. If rumors of the next Xbox releasing in 2026 are true, 343's game probably won't even release during this generation.
How can anyone say the people that worked on MCC are the people doing the heavy lifting? The people who worked on MCC only added a few customizations, and shoved 5 games plus remastered and anniversaries together to combine them and make a one disc game, they didnt do much

If 343 delivers ,” IF !! “They will nail it and get more population into the game . Microsoft isn’t stupid to throw all of their big cards the same year if they even wanted to do it . Phil said when last update in FEB that we are only moving those 4 games and not more , it won’t be the case for every game , they won’t kill Xbox that fast .
I can't watch trailers or anything like that anymore. Look at the teasers for 5 and infinite. Misleading content that gets cut right when people get excited (the wild life on the ring had me hype, but look at where we are now.) it's annoying that we waited about 10 years before we got anything new after halo 5, and this is it. Idk man just tired.

Its not fair that PC players on Steam can't experience Halo 5 Guardians. Those players will miss out on the Halo story between Halo 4 and Infinite. I hope that 343 Industries does address this issue to the Halo fan base. I really hope that in the future Halo 5 Guardians is put on Steam for PC players. And it becomes cross play between Xbox and PC.

Honestly if halo comes to ps5 MCC will be a massive win for the fans and the franchise. If infinite comes to ps5 I fully think it’ll revive infinite. As a past Xbox player that switched to PS I would love to play halo again and would sink a stupid amount of time into them also if they put fable on PlayStation I also think it’ll revive the franchise. I absolutely adored the fable games 🥰
