Ron at spintech makes custom mufflers besides the ones on site, and even my 2020 tundra with spintech x-pipe and dual 9000s and duals out back suprise people 2k rpm and above with stock cats.Best sound ever and I had blowmasters on big blocks in 86,last 10 years spintech for me.
Sounds nice. I was actually looking into these mufflers before I bought my two corsa pro series mufflers about a year ago. You should have taken out the y pipe and put a cts-v xpipe, that's how I have it set up on my crew cab with equal length exhaust. Nice truck though 👌🏼
I’ll be real it’s the pipes before the x that’ll change it the way I do it is using a splayed x pipe and just making it come at an angle so I can sweep the passenger side out without killing flow
I say you do Carven R. If you ever do heads and cam then the Spintech would be a great choice! But for a stock 4.8 a single exit with a carven R will sound best!
This brand been around since we were kids, yall just gotta do research n not just buy or do what everyone else does, maybe these channels would have something different they are all the same
We are always down to try out a new exhaust! And yeah most brands have been around a long time they just don't get much exposure. This exhaust honestly requires a really nice setup to truly get the best tone out of it. Your average 4.8/5/3 ls with just long tubes and no cam wouldn't sound as great so thats where a corsa would shine. But these spintechs on a true dual setup paired up perfectly with this setup!
Equal length isn't that significant to achieve that corvette sound. 3" pipe from the headers back through a proper x pipe will sound extremely close to equal length. I've had both and they both sounded amazing compared to a y pipe and single muffler.
Truck had long tube headers, and a true dual exhaust. So we added the x pipe where the two exhaust pipes where closest. Then tried to equal out the length behind the x pipe.
Oh no we're not calling them NEW NEW. We're simply saying are these the new BEST mufflers to go with on a Silverado. Corsa has been king for a while. We believe these on the correct setup sound way better than a Corsa Muffler.
@@Trokiando bro seriously these are the Best mufflers on any thing period. I been running them on all my rides for years. I have a video on my channel with a Chrysler we installed the 6000s on and it sounds like a beast. I have one with a corsa and is nowhere near as clean. I just put a dual 2.5 system with the 9000s on my 5.7 ram yesterday. At first I didn’t like them at all got on the road and they tightened up a bit by the time I got where I was going and by the end of the day they sounded a lot better . I don’t like the clap at high rpm’s to me sounds like the exhaust is flattening out. I may go ahead and slap the pro bullets at the back to see how it sounds. I have the cats on still so I’m trying to figure out how to get that crispy sound.
