I personally think the Chiappa Rhino looks cool, kind of futuristic, like a Star Trek version of a revolver. And the designers clearly had function and innovation when they designed it. I'd love to add one to my collection one of these days.

The greatest crime is that it came from Italy, the home of Ducati, Ferrari, MV Augusta, Maserati, Moto Guzzi, Sofia Loren, Gina Lollobrigida, and Famars, ad nauseam! I never realized how ugly this revolver was until I saw one at a gun show. I am sure though, that this revolver is of a very high quality on a level of S&W, Colt, etc. I’d certainly trust one to a self defense situation. Thanks Hickok! Let’s look at everything available to us in our wonderful gun world!

A break action kinda loading is more comfortable for a revolver like the one Vash uses in Trigun anime. Because if you wanna top up with some fresh bullets its just flings downards and ejection is not engaged just partially lifting off the ammo cartridges, and two at a time can be pulled out from the spent cartridges while all is at an angle in front of the view while hand pointing forward or near eye level. Else with a revolver would more likely have to dump remainnig cartridges and load with a speed loader.

I love the Rhino. It's my favorite revolver to shoot, to carry, to look at. I had one for a while, but my mother wanted a revolver, liked the Rhino, so I gave it to her as a birthday gift. It's her woods gun, now.

I had to stop firing my S&W 686 with full-power .357 Mag loads because of arthritis in my bottom thumb joint. I guess the Rhino would be even more of a challenge. But the idea of a revolver that drives straight back instead of flipping up seems like a great way to get off a second shot. I’d like to see a comparison on paper targets of double taps with the Rhino, a S&W 686, and a Colt Phython. I wonder who has examples of those revolvers?

In the post Glock era the Rhino's appearance has never bothered me. It's also a fairly well shooting sidearm. It fits both small & large hands, & is pretty balanced.

It’s a bad revolver for shooting bulls eye, because of the huge sigths heigth, that is never good for practical accuracy, as it multiplies shooters mistakes on target.

@@stonefox9124 moré balanced doesn’t make it more accurate. No one uses high sigths on target guns. It really affects your mistakes in sigth alignment, making groups larger on target. You pay a price for the low bore, here.

It's a sight prettier than a Highpoint but that ain't sayin' much. Kinda like having a choice between Phillis Diller and Tiny Tim. Phyllis at least was female, attempted to dress up and was funny. Tiny Tim was just downright disgusting. Nobody has any idea of who I'm talking about except Hickok.
