@@clevelandmitchell7445 we all grew up poor....mexicans and blacks were friends as youngsters. all we heard in the barrios on the radio was rap music so of course we're going to like it. there was kday and power 106. you keep hearing nigga all day long amongst your friends and on the music you listen to, well then that word becomes a habit. it's like people who listen to rock music all day, they're gonna get used to hearing brah and dude. our parents listended to norteño, mariachi, and banda when we were kids but most of us didn't start liking it until we were in our teens or older. some of us do dress like that with the jeans, boots, and cowboy hats, as well. you don't because you weren't around that music because you can't speak the language. as far as tyga's video, he had nachos and other shit coming down on his car. it's like if we have bbq or chitlins coming down on our car in a video, you'll be up in arms about it. nothing more, nothing less. i personally don't use the word nigga or dude or ese, i was never a cholo. it's mostly the youngsters who use that word, not men my age in our 40's and above.
I used to work with Mexicans like him. One in particular wasn’t mean nor standoffish. When you need help he’ll help you, but when it comes to hanging outside of work, he straight up tell you “No, I just fuck with my own kind/family - no offense to anyone” funny enough, he’s married to a black woman.
