Bro keep the good work. I love your video. Peterborough is a nice place to live. I was told lots of lies about Peterborough until I went there to visit. I found it amazing. I’m moving there end of September 2024 God willing.
Loved your video. There are many stunning villages attached to the peterborough postcode. The priest was right about it being known as part of Northampton at one time until they had a postcode shake-up. I have worked and experienced peterborough life having lived here since the 80's and have seen an increase in corporate interests to the detriment of people who may have personal or finacial issues. Generally the enjoyment factor has not been propogated by those in financial control, whereas in the past there was plenty to do and experience. However, and providing you have the funds i would say living here has gone from a 9 to a 7. Its still a great place to be but that depends on where you venture!
I'm not going to have people bad mouth Peterborough because it's been very good to me. I moved here in the early '90s and have always had work regardless of recessions affecting other parts of the country. The parkways that cross the city are very good too; you can get from one side of Peterborough to the other in just twenty minutes, add to that the proximity to the A1 and a railway line direct to London in less than an hour, the outdoor spaces and surrounding areas like Stamford and Rutland it's a great place to live
This video was excellent considering all the vlogs have seen about Peterborough here on RU-vid. It really gave me a different perspective on this city.

I live here. You'll have to explain that. I mean I'm hacked off that Werrington First have so much power, but I seriously don't know what you are talking about. If you have a problem say what it is! How can anyone relate to this? It's just you being randomly grumpy with no explanation to people who have no idea what you mean!
From the US, how the hell can that be the worst place to live in the UK? It all looks very quaint and green to my eyes. This would be a gem in my state 👍
@@Successmindsets750- Such nonsense. There are estates with the usual social housing but there are also affluent, green areas with tree lined roads. Thorpe Wood, Werrington village, Orton Waterville, Orton Longville. And that green oasis Ferry Meadows......yeah what a dump!
@@imolesquare If you get there at the right time it's impressive. Once, late at night I was lying on the grass at the front and somebody inside started playing Bach... the famous one in horror movies... and I just LAY there soaking up the wonder. It's moments like that that define Peterborough, like random strangers hailing you for a random arm wrestle or just talking random nonsense. It's a laid back place with a sense of fun. :)
Good video young man lived in the city since 1970 city centre not the same anymore queen's gates to blame for that lost a lot of good shops and pubs and old working man's clubs cattle market two cinemas and much more don't use the town centre anymore that goes for a lot of local people think you should do another video and ask a few more people want they 🤔 good luck with your RU-vid channel well done 👍
Bro trust me when i say, it is one of the worst cities to live in .... u have only shown the town centre where the money has been spent, if u want to show the viewer's the real city then take themnfor a walk round the whole city in the hoods of westwood, bretton, paston, dogsthorpe and welland thats if u dare even get ur camera out in these parts and then tell me its not the worst city to live in, ive seen a few videos like this now and u only try to show the good parts and not the real parts so u r doin ur viewwrs a dis-service by not giving a full tour of the city, but ill give u 10/10 for trying and just saying i was born and raised in Peterbrough and the 1st change i had i was gone for a better live

@imolesquare I haven't lived in Borough for about 25 years now bro and even I wouldn't walk around most of them parts and I know a lot of people in Peterborough u whip ur camera out there and u will wish u hadn't these r some of the reasons I moved away so my kids don't have to grow up around all that
Nice video mate, I’ve lived here 55+ years, it has changed a lot, and not really for the better, but so have most other towns and cities. liked and subbed, will share too.
The individuals who work at the railway station are the rudest I have ever seen, they are so unhelpful and disinterested. I asked for an Anytime Day Return and afterwards I realised the person at the desk gave me an Off-Peak. They don’t listen and are completely unprofessional, worse even than Cambridge Railway station - and they are bad enough.
@rafiqadarr6217 I can imagine your frustration. It’s best to always crossed check your tickets after purchase as there’s always that possibility of human errors. You can always try to get a refund but that might require some form of proof to go through.

Moved here from London. Its not perfect but show me somwhere that is. I think it's pretty awesome overall. It's an objective fact that everywhere has declined since the 2000s. Good thing there is an election coming up.
I live here too and honestly its not what it used to be when i was a kid there was markets alot more shops and just more things to do but now its just so boring theres not much to do here theres areas here that are pretty bad when it comes to drugs and people getting into fights just sad really
Its cheaper however prices are rising as the city is growing exponentially and the addition of the University is a bonus I would say ...lived here for 24 years and I would say its what you make it ....theres a nice gym at the marriot hotel in longthorpe not far from the hospital with swimming pool ...and it's a decent enough hospital...good wishes for you in whatever you decide
I live in Peterborough, I get into a lot of fights and have seen a lot of people doing drugs and shi on the streets but am sure theres worse cities to live in England
