Third party workshops should also be trained/ allowed to work on these battery packs. This is what is happening in the west with manufacturer supplied kits. But hopefully yaha par jugaad nahi hona chahiye, replacing cells withing battery pack without calibration and balancing will surely lead to fires.

Totally true info… it takes 15-20 days to get the battery replaced. Even my nexon ev battery got replaced 2 days back. People came from pune and got the battery changed.

@@ashishanshuman3074 to be honest… Yes I’d love to go for EV again. Please note - Its good only if you don’t go long rides and I usually travel from point A to B but I believe this issue will be sorted in coming years as many charging stations are coming through…. I even purchased Ather so both my primary vehicles are EV and so far I’m happy 😊

Its nothing special to be honest. One of my relative is in real estate business so I just had a word with him and then next day I got a call from Tata service center. This was little different way but I'll suggest you to go to service center and directly speak to a supervisor bcz if you just talk to some assigned agent then it will never happen. BTW is your battery in warranty ? In Battery discharge problem they won't be replacing it for sure. In my case the car was stopping below 30% battery.@@prathameshbhat6632

one wrong info shared, I checked with Tata before buying a EV, the replacement Battery will be a refurbished battery only, never a new one.

I am owner of Nexon Max EV, my battery replaced after 75 days (two and half months) that after so long of struggles and escalations. Aslo mager issue with EV cars that no one talks about, service center insisting that i need to to discarge my batter from 100% to less than 20% and do slow charging back to 100% at least 5 times after fast charging or if i done slow charging for lesser time. which makes use of my EV impractical for long distance travel.

Same happen with me.. battery get drained suddenly from 52-25% in 10 mins. (distance covered 10km) happened with me twice

It’s about personal preference brother.. if the pocket supports then why not.. my ev is also lux model top variant.. those additional luxury features will be feel good factor

tata power ez charge app chara onno kono app aache charge deyar janno . karon tata r app all process compelete kore last step e jakhene kwh/ remaining time/ stop charging ei khane ase buffering hocche . R tar theke kichu hocche na . mane out side home charge deya jache na. ei charge deyar janno ki kono card kora jai . waiting to your replay....

Buy plugin hybrid or strong hybrid or else dont buy tata evs for sure. Maybe BYD blade batteries are good

Well and good. Let's keep our fingers crossed that the battery pack doesn't catch fire when it catches a fault because that would mean replacing the whole car instead of a 300kg battery. If that does happen, perhaps a Nexon without the burden of a battery might be a bit smarter.
