Deck hard folds to maxx c, cant really make a board atop it. It also struggled going 2nd ifbyou arent Trif/know every card/line like the back of your hand. Its like D/D/D pre support. Needs 170 iq to play competitively, but also isnt mad rewarding(i played this deck for a while, even with 3 upstart n chicken game, itd boards are fine, if they HT well the boards suck)

Because it needs a shit ton of URs and ppl doesn't want to spend that many URs point to craft a deck that isn't that good?

Yeah I agree I’m literally arguing with a guy who keeps saying pendulums are confusing I’m trying to tell Him if you just read the cards it will go a long long way because I think with people find pendulum confusing or just really annoying is the huge amount text you after you have to read understand the card but if you were just read the text you and see the card that’s why I think that Endymion player Did that because he didn’t fully understand what he was doing yet

The tcg banlist is just as stupid as the ocg one despite people pretending it's not, also why does Konami feel the need to put two cancer staples in each format? I don't get it, for ocg it's Maxx-c and for tcg it's mystic mine, it's like they want toxicity in each format.

They could bring electrumite to 1 (it's baffling this card was ever playable at 3) and servant to 3 but the deck would still rarely see play

Yeah I love him pendulums well I play odd eyes because of Yu-Gi-Oh arc v anime I also play the four heavenly dragons Or the four dimension dragons so yeah I’m kind of confused why people find pendulum so confusing but it’s so simple Edit: The heavenly dragons is the Japanese title for the four dimension dragons

Yep endymion going first puts up an unbreakable board, but I actually prefer going second, that's when it gets really fun.

@@airamwnunezdelgado8216 endymion can actually play through all those handtraps except Maxx-c, ( obviously not more than 2 at the same time) for Maxx-c the only way is called by. Ash is so easy to play through for endymion, if i open with a mythical beast engine I can put up an early jackal to play around veiler, nib... Or endymion to play around imperm.

Agree Pendulum are fun when you can actually play them but no matter what I always play pendulums I have never given up on pendulums because I’ve been playing Odd eyes since the beginning of master duel release

Yeah I play odd eyes Performapal And I had one opponent who just surrendered after I kept special summoning lancer dragon when he played skill drain and I had odd eyes arc pendulum dragon in the pendulum zone I feel like people just don’t understand pendulums because of all the effects you actually have to read to understand them

Or even destroy my spells. Which helps me out. Ohhh, wait. I just remembered another funny win. I pendulum summoned. Then my opponent used Nibiru. Giving me an 8,000 attack and 4,800 defense token. They immediately quit, lol. When I first saw Abyss Actors years ago. I was play LOD: LE. I saw that there were a few cards. I thought it would be neat to make a them deck out of them. I did not realize how good they were. I don't run traps, because I don't need to. People will destroy my face down spells. Which is what I want them to do. To either have me draw until I have 5 cards in hand, I special summon from the deck as much as I have space, or I return their whole field to the hand or extra deck. Which fucks over a lot the top tier decks. Since they focus on using high link monsters.

Well, there’s Heatsoul Control using Salads and there’s Salads. Depends on the build, But regular salads rather go into wolf, a trap, and a Bagooska while Heatsoul Control goes straight into Heatsoul.

Because Heatsoul in actual Salad is kinda iffy to be honest. Salad would rather make Dweller or Gooska and some Salad backrow.

in short: standard salad bord ends on interaction, heatsoul ends on draws that can be interaction. you typically want to end on sunlightwolf with backrow instead of heatsoul & pray. (heatsoul is still 100% worth the ED slot)

@@johnblunt6693 but that's not what people were doing during Nat period. I watch decklists and some replays and most of them were going Heatsoul everytime, some lists even cut the traps completely. Because getting the traps in Salad is pretty meh, it means you cannot dump a monster with Gazelle which makes it hard to get Bagooska or follow up, and if you catch any interruption you dont get the trap neither. Heatsoul is much more resilient That's why i was asking if there was something different in MD that makes you do something else

He did play a code talker deck awhile ago so I'm guessing he still has it idk if he's used it for the event

If they run Jackal king they can just play around Nib, I guess they don't. I like to use magician souls to dump a jackal king for resummon later

I think that was the plan but because many people didn’t like pendulum because of all the text they didn’t release them I feel like if people just love pendulums we could’ve gotten very cool dark magician and blue eyes pendulum cards Edit: I feel like if dark magician in blue eyes pendulum cards release near the middle of arc five for no reason people would’ve actually say oh that’s Cool but I think people didn’t like it because dark magician and all these other archetypes didn’t get it at the time

@@HexStickman how so... you do realize a pendulum summon requires the same amount of cards (2 scales and at least 1 monster to summon..) as a ritual and rituals are considered minus at best unless you're specifically summoning herald of perfection using benten as tribute and the proper ritual spell... yes i understand the scales are like continous spells etc etc but the hand commitment to properly play pendulum is insane... you litterally have 2 cards left on hand by the time you go scale scale pend 1.. to actually plus you need to like do something like pend call darkwurm and then commit a normal summon to make a link 2 to get somewhat of a WORTHWHILE pendulum summon... now looking at master duel... the game FORCES you to run maxx C, called by and ash blossom to either go 2nd OR combat maxx C going first - thats like 8 deck slots lost to MANDATORY cards to not just die instantly leaving you with 32 cards to build a competent pendulum strat out of and to add insult to injury if you're playing endymion you are going to need a bunch of actuall spells to fire off to get your spellcounters... so by the time you get to actually splashing in monsters you have space for.... lets see - uhmm about 16-20 actual pendulum monsters if married to a 40 card deck? long story short, pendulum needs some love the mechanic in of itself is cool the current state just is woefully outclassed by other less resource intensive strategies
