This is farcical, Jose has done more than enough to justify he doesn't need to cheat online. If kramnik had an ounce of (non-chess) class he would just end this
He already has. Kramnik’s claim is that Jos was cheating and that’s the only reason he beat him. Jos has more than proved that that’s not the case even if he loses tomorrow.
I'm just here to point out that the former world champ is scared of playing in 3+1, even though that's the format he accused Jose of cheating in. It's an implicit admission that he was wrong, and it's pathetic that he won't say it out loud. Jose isn't a cheater, if Kramnik wasn't such a loser he would apologize and admit it.
I remember when Hikaru was taking shots at the Clash of Claims, saying how disappointed he was that Levy was helping with that and that it shouldn't be happening.
Nah. Doesn’t hold up. The way you stop BS in its tracks is to disprove it, not ignore it or censor it. I’m glad Levy helped and I’m happy to see Jose disprove the allegations.
"IS THIS WORLD CHAMPION CHESS??" It's ex world champion, which btw Hikaru will never be. In addition, shorter time format, further from the chess. Imagine super bullet of 15 or 20 seconds. Below 1000 rated player will occasionally win 2700 player. Already in rapid it wont happen, not to mention classical. That's about speed chess specialists.
Basically even if you are massively down against Kramnik, if you can take into the last 10 seconds of his time, you are always in with a chance of Kramnik self destructing.
Kramnik will say that he has something like a 0-12 record v Jose in Titled Tuesday. Why isn’t that happening here? Therefore Jose must be cheating in TT. The difference between this challenge and Titled Tuesday is 3+2 v 3+1. Jose’s mouse skills are much better than Kramnik’s and therefore he has a big plus score in TT. Kramnik accuses many juniors who are underrated of cheating. But these kids have played 1000s and 1000s of online games, getting superb mouse and tactical skills. They are very dangerous on TT even if they don’t have GM-level strategic maturity yet. It also explains the big discrepancy between their OTB and TT ratings, something else that Kramnik doesn’t understand.
If Jospem played Kramnik online like normal, what would the score be? I feel like Jose would win a ton of games, so it is interesting that Kramnik won the event today. It has nothing to do with him being a world champ.
Jospem online defeats kramnik like 10-0 and plays head too head against the best blitz players. In this matchups he barerly wins and only cause time blunders. All the tactical shots that he makes online arent present.
It might be the different setting/place, and of course, pressure. Kramnik is more seasoned super OTB player (obviously) and yet he reacted inappropriately. Nonetheless, no excuses for both sides
Kramnik refuses to pre-move online. Have you ever watched him play online? He literally clicks, then clicks again. It is the slowest online play I've ever seen, and I suck.
Spoilers Y'know I didn't know who would be favored in this, Kramnik being a bit rusty and José just not being a world champ level player as good as he is. But seeing how well Kramnik played I'm a bit surprised he lost, even if he had lots of time trouble in the online section. And I don't wanna chalk it up to age Regardless, José good. Final answer
but I am wondering what Kramnik will conclude whatsoever the results, when you propose such test you need first what you will conclude... kramnik forgot this I think...
Hi Hikaru I want to ask you something important that can change my life I am 15 years old my rating is 1700 I play well in classical but I have only been playing chess seriously for a few years my rating is 2500+ what do you think is worth it to continue playing? I devote at least 6 hours a day to chess, please answer me
I see what you're saying but think of it this way. Holding his own against a WORLD CHESS CHAMP, IN LOSING POSITIONS most of the time... I think that's definitely top 10 Titled Tuesday player material right there. Plus in all of this, there's always going to be the human factor. Nerves, prep, good days, bad days. He won a losing position not because he plays like an engine but because his opponents misplay. Especially in the last game that Hikaur mentioned, Jospem did not win because he 'outplayed' Kramnik. Kramnik played the ONLY losing move (even Qc6 is better and would've put his kind one square closer and making it a draw). Jospem simply players more consistently under lower time than Kramnik does at the same time control. My point being, it's not just about Jospem playing at a high level, it's also about his opponent playing at a lower one. Still early to tell, they still have some more days left I think so we'll see what happens but so far so good for the youngster!
Yes. Remember that this single event is one sample, while he has played TT dozens more times than this, so the sample size in that event is larger. There are some TTs where he plays worse than even in this event.
@@KrumovBobby Equal blitz match with 49 years old already non professional player is NOT top 10 level. With Firousja, MVL, Fabiano, etc he will lose without chances with such game, but online he very good with everyone (except Nakamura, OF COURSE 😁)
Hikaru can u do more tutorial on openings maybe a pittle bit slower to show us how and when to move the pieces in the right place with the most famous openings pls to all of us noobs 😂, 🏮💪
