I don’t think their policies have changed. My understanding is you just have to refrain during the first 7-8 seconds. Something like that anyway. I think it mostly messed with her intro which really sets the tone of her brand. But regardless it’s been a rough road for sure.
Hourglass needs to make customizable 4&6 pan palettes like their overly expensive Curator eyeshadow palettes. We don't want the overly expensive, but for those of us who use past& discontinued palettes daily, we'd pay for (shhh don't tell them) the ability to refill our favorite shades of face powders (which we also use for eyes)❤
I figured you’d love the I Need a Nude palette. I duped it out with my single eyeshadows when it was announced a couple of weeks ago, and I have been LOVING using my dupe. Dare I say it the dupe will stay made up for a while, and I’m hoping I’ll use up some single shadows in the meantime. 😁 This palette is definitely going on my wish list for the future though. 😊

We need a Basically Lethal palette because you know with Lethal it wouldn’t be super basic, it would be exciting. I’m not much of a neutral girlie, but some of the palettes that pull more neutral from indie brands (like the Ghost Town USA from Nomad) are incredible. I love neutral that has some color apparently.
I did not need the nude palette at all but every time I wear it, I feel so pretty 😊 I also just want to say you are the funniest and I love your channel. Kthxbye ❤
I 💯 recommend using Radiant Light (from the Snake Palette) as a bronzer!!! I’m fairer than sliced bread, and if I layer Radiant light with Dim light - to diffuse the edges - it’s a dream ✨
I LOVE the ND palette, I loved it when I saw the pics, bought it on rouge prelaunch or whatever they call it. No discount, nothing. The second I opened it and saw the shades, OMG! My fave palette of all time, I can’t stop using it, and I love that you are so happy with it too!
I have an ambient lighting palette from a few years ago for medium/tan skin. It was discounted so I said why not since I hadn’t tried hourglass’ formula yet. I use it as an every day eyeshadow palette and absolutely love it! Also some of the deeper finishing powders work really well as a light bronzer option for me in the winter. Worth trying at least!
With the HG snake palette, I was wondering if the setting powder could work for you as a light bronzer. It has that touch of radiance. Definitely a fantastic makeup day for you. Love the finished makeup look.

You should definitely try the darker face colors in that Hourglass 🐍 palette as eyeshadows! And on the shipping issue, I always try to do order online for in-store pickup whenever possible. I'm currently holding my breath for the MAC blushes I bought during ULTA's 21 Days of Beauty; they were online only so I can just wait and pray they arrive intact. 🙈
I also love my "I need a nude" pallet also. Natasha Denona formula's are fantastic. The pallet is definitely more than just another nude pallet. Lol the pink shade and the other metallic is so different than the rest of the metallic shades. New formula old formula it's all good when it's Natasha Denona metallics. 🌸💜🌸🙂
My family is in MA and my boss and coworker are in CT and they tease me about what we consider cold in FL. I tell them come to FL and we’ll do Disney in August and see whose still standing at the end of the day. I work remote now and do so outside in my patio so I spent those 100+ degree days with a laptop on my lap. I can do heat. I don’t love the humidity but I’m used to it.
Yay! I'm so glad the INAN palette was worth the headache and the wait! It looks beautiful on you! As I am in Canada and ND has pulled out of retailers here (😭), I bit the bullet and warily placed my first order from Beautylish. Since I didn't know how the process was going to go and if it would be the first and last time ordering from them, I also ordered a bunch of other palettes I've wanted for a long time that are also not available here (ND Camel palette, and three Viseart palettes - Étendus Cashmérie and Minxette, and Petites Shimmers in Paris Nudes). Man, am I ever happy I got them all. I love the INAN so much. It's so basic and wearable and pretty, and I'm so happy to have it in my collection! Totally worth the hype, in my opinion. Glad to hear that, in spite of the deeply uncomfy weather, you enjoyed meeting the gang of creators who came to Florida! Glad to hear this palette is so good...didn't jump on it when I could have when it cam available for rouge at Sephora. I was at Ulta and asked the helper if they carried it in that store. She said no...but could she steer me to something that could substitute. Yes, she really said that. I asked her is she'd ever tried ND...she said no...and I said there is no substitute. Your makeup looks lovely! Love that you don’t only get the “hyped” stuff, but what random stuff calls ur name too. Would love to see a “brand review” abt Lisa’s bc they seem to have similar issues across products and criticisms across ppl- so would be interesting to get an idea of how you’d describe the line and who it’s made for, and who it’s prob not… and also anything you’ve learned abt their tendency or formulation or colors etc. especially, after trying so many products. Love the palette! The colors are going to look great on you, too. I never travel with my ND palettes bc the shimmers are so unstable- (and messy AF if break) even the small 5 pan ones… and that’s a real downer. I don’t think I’ve ever had an issue traveling w/ The smallest ones tho. But ppl should know they can’t Ross them in their makeup bag and shit. Only thing that I might suggest re: your look, is to add a bit more glow to the temple/top of cheekbones and touch to the sides of your forehead… & I know you don’t usually do this- but I’d even add a thin, short line of glow along your brow bone. ONLY a thin line lightly brushed below your brow, starting at the arch & blending out towards the tail of your brow. Living in the South, in the summers (especially) I like to use the glowy powders that come in the Natasha Denona blush duos, or face palettes, they can help camouflage the sweat haha. There’s a few diff types, but most can be used a bit like hourglass ones or like highlighters. Plus, she makes a more glittery one, wet effect one, and a more glowy version, etc. and I like that they can be built up & really concentrated & mpactful, or toned down; whereas, the hourglass finishing powders seem much more subdued and do add a lovely filter/airbrush effect. The blushes are super gorgeous. The other thing abt ND blushes and glow powders, and actually, the eyeshadows as well… is that one has to be sure what the undertone of the shimmer or powder is- bc sometimes, the looks can be deceiving, or there may be more than one- glittery reflects that are a different color than the shimmer/satin metallic that more visible from a diff direction, or even a duo/multi chrome effect. Some of the blushes or face pallets have cream and/or powder glow products, and they may look the same in the pan but the sheen is super cold vs super warm. So just ensure whether they have a gold undertone or silver one before dusting it around your face/décolletage, esp if you have a look that it can screw with- such as a coral pink & bronzey goddess summer look… you def don’t need to tip it off with a silver hued dusting on your high points… the gold or even champagne & pink soft glowy powders are able to enhance in a more cohesive way. But I’ve even got big pans of just her highlight/body glow powders, and they can look THE SAME in the pan and on your face until you turn and it catches the light. Ive learned the hard way- so just a reminder.😜😉 I still haven’t tried the hourglass powders and think this year may be the time.

The ND palette is so pretty in person that I changed from maybe buying it to IM GOING TO OWN THIS FRIGGIN PALETTE NOW. It’s sold out around me though. I WILL get it though.
The $15 off $50 at Ulta did not work for a lot of people, including myself. Ulta's app and website has been hot, stinky garage for several weeks now. People can't use their coupons and it's very frigging frustrating.

Hey my pretty friend! I got the jellyfish palette in the snake case and got the brush too. (Amaaaaaazing!) I didn’t have any of the jellyfish colors so I just DID IT. 😂 Damn I don’t need another concealer but that Gucci is WORKING on you! I had to return their foundation because the smell knocked me the fuck out. I think the ND palette is perfect for what it’s supposed to be and haters to the left. ❤ The Milk Makeup lip oils are DIVINE. Get the frosty blue one and wear it over a warm lipstick, it looks gorgeous! This was the perfect happy video for sitting on my couch with my morning caffeine. I got my a couple weeks ago from Ulta, it was bubble wrapped & packed carefully, so it’s weird yours would be handled differently.🤷🏻♀️ This is my first ND palette & I really like it. I’m wearing the exact same colors today that you did in your video w/o the bright liner, which I loved, so I’ll have to try that. I bought some really cool, creepy, black trees today from Jo-Ann’s for Halloween decor. Love ‘em!
I don't own any of the HG holiday palettes or powders, and im just a touch darker than you in skin tone. so i got the snake cover with the jellyfish colors.(I love snakes) Works great for me.
I have a medium skin tone and I was born in the year of the snake so I got the snake insides in the jellyfish palette because I can’t do snakes. I know it’s just artwork but no nope ropes for me lol
Ahhh I am so glad I wasn’t the only one disappointed in food and wine this year! I loved it last year so I was so excited for this year but the portions were smaller than last year and the options weren’t as good. I tried a pineapple wine from Hawaii that just straight up burned my mouth. Hopefully next year is better 😂 I also went in august and almost died, and that’s coming from someone who lives In Miami and is very much so accustomed to the heat/humidity but my god Orlando is worse. Highly do not recommend 😂

Omg my palette came broken from ulta 4 times!! So annoying, I ended up keeping the last one that only had one broken shade, I was tired of messing with it.

I have the snake color way otw and am pretty pale like you, but I’m hoping that with a fan brush it will work. And I also got the snake brush. Love the look today!
It took my natasha palette 3 and a half weeks to get to me and wasn't what I was expecting :`( It's pretty, but all the shimmers look identical on the lid because they're super reflective
I'm glad that you love it after all that hassle to get it. I'm pretty happy with the basic bitch things I already have, so it's a pass for me. I just pulled back out my little viseart Violette palette. If I were to buy something new in the basic realm, I would probably go for the blend bunny neutral face and eye palette.
You have to ger the milk makeup odyssey gloss in globetrotter its the kost beautiful alien slut shade! Its glittery blue that shifts to red in bright lighting! Its absolutely to die for❤
