IS TIFA COMING TO TEKKEN 8? 

Would you like to see Tifa in Tekken 8? If not her, who would be better?

I mean...Bamco got the license for Noctis from Square Enix to have him in T7. I have no doubt they can do it again in T8 with Tifa. It's a win-win scenario for both companies. Bamco can make money from Tifa as DLC and have good market value for Tekken 8 while having 50% of the profit, and Square Enix can get the other 50% through royalities as it's their character and it will make Tekken fans want to buy FF7 Rebirth. So honestly...Tifa should be in Tekken 8 😂.

Tifa will be a good guest character since the new FF7 is coming out next year.

If they announce Tifa in Tekken 8 and at the same time announce SoulCalibur 7 with Cloud, it would break the internet. Furthermore, Aerith as the second T8 guest and Sephiroth as the second SC7 guest would be nuts. Brilliant Cross-Promotion potential

I always dreamed that Shermie (KOF 2002) would be added to Tekken. She has so many unusual characteristic animations! (in the new KOF there are fewer and worse animations) Cool image, playful character, careless bangs hiding the eyes, and of course thicc hips! She is sexy as hell, but at the same time she has a bright personality. besides, you can come up with a lot of interesting things with her grabs and destructive moves if you know what I mean... )

Tifa is too classy for DoA. She must be in Tekken.

Ff15 came out November 2016. Noctis was released in Tekken 7 March 2018. If we get Tifa, she'll probably be season 2

It sounds like a slam dunk. Tifa is a brawler/fighter so being in a fighting game makes so much sense. On top of the fanbase, she would actually move copies if she were included... so many stans would merely buy just bc their waifu is in it! I'd be one of them, but I can see it as a double-edged sword though. Hopefully next year they can bring the heat with the first wave of dlc!

Man so many ideas when it comes to guest characters. I would really love to see Noctis as his older self and even Baki haha. A bit generic but I really like the idea.

I mean I know that Notics was in Tekken 7 but would be interesting if we had another Final Fantasy character in the game but one of the actors from the remake of final fantasy I believe was Julie in tekken 7 dlc character but either way I would still buy the game.

ryu hazuki from the shenmue series would be a smart choice. The community that played shenmue are pretty much die hard fans of the franchise and would buy anything that charater is in. Tifa is definitely a better option but if not her, it would have to be the main character of virtual fighter

Just saw harada tweeting about Tifa and had to come here, imagine how dumb of a marketing team you gotta have to not capitalize on FF7R2 coming out on leap year day when TK8 just dropped. Plus they’re OG ps1 titles, can we please get some nostalgia tactics utilized in marketing? Even for $5 I bet Tifa would easily make over a $1M in profit.

Bit off topic, but I feel like Michelle coulda been one of the more recognisible characters in the series had they kept her around. The original female character along with Nina and her costume design always more standout than Julias, imo. Reina has a good shot though, as you say. She has alot of character.

I dont expect reina to become iconic like that, most of the iconic characters everybody recognizes are really old. time is the biggest factor when it comes to creating iconic characters and reina would have to need a lot of time to build that sort of recognizability. maybe in 10 years who knows, i hope they do something cool with her regardless

So what was even the point of having Noctis get added in Tekken if you want Tifa in the game instead? Are we gonna now pretend that Noctis didn't ALSO came from Final Fantasy, and he was also added in BECAUSE to bring the Final Fantasy community into the Tekken franchise??? Having Tifa be in T8 makes zero sense, because FF already exists. If any FF character is gonna be in T8, it's Noctis himself. Dude literally has an entire moveset already created, and you want to pretty much just throw it away to favor another one for no reason? I don't think so.

I think Morrigan from the Darkstalkers games would be a nice addition cause I was reading a while ago that Namco wanted to include her in Tekken 7 but was cut due to time/budget constraints she'd be amazing to see due to Capcom abandoning the Darkstalkers series. Additionally, I think Akira from the Virtua Fighter series would be a welcome addition to Tekken 8 as I am a fan of VF and it was would be nice to see him included (If not Akira then Brad Burns from VF4 would be good due to his personality and fighting style). Leon S Kennedy from Resident Evil 4 Remake would be a neat addition too I could see him being similar to Victor with his arsenal.

We have plenty of Iconic female characters, Alisa, Nina, Anna, Jun, Asuka, Christina, and Eliza, the problem is the player base is majority of male players with a biased tendency towards female fighters of Tekken or in general.
