I dont care about character buffs and nerfs at this stage all I was counting on was major heat changes (nerfs), I was hoping for a much more drastic hit to heat but I also understand they wont want to make it redundant. I do think even though they want to give this patch time to breath and meta settle in Tekken 8 has already lost so many player's that Im not certain they have more than 8 month's to make big changes to make Tekken feel like Tekken again but we shall see. Interesting time's.

I dont care about frame traps. I play king and all the r... players who are carried by many plus moves are cancer.. people who play hwoarangs, fengs, dragunovs etc.. pure cancer

In Tekken 7 you can relax. Tekken 8 feels like if you are in a tournament... Not because of complexity, difficult combos and shit... It's because of the aggression and fucking pressure. There's really no fun. Just beating this shit out of each other. I get so tense my whole arm hurts. I ain't pro so why this game forces me to play on a pro level? Once I pass the violet ranks, I just keep going back to them. UP and DOWN .. UP and DOWN cause I'm too weak. And I'm fine with that. On lower ranks I could utilize every single thing I learned. I went to Training... launched Punishement Training, understood that I forgot to properly punish opponents with one counter hit and shit. Went back and practiced that one thing. On higher ranks one fking second, one missed punch, hit, shit and you can lay back and watch Steve combo you all the way to KO. And I can't get back to lower ranks when I can just play for fun. IN Quick matches i get players in my rank and I can win only 40 % of these matchups. I'm taking a break from this game.
hi, ive been playing since tekken 1 and 2 on the ps1. i still own these old games. ofc im not a pro, so thats why people dont take your opinions serious sometimes. for me personally, and i have 1500 hours in t7, this isnt tekken anymore the way i used to fall in love with. you can call me stubborn to not be open for new, but i already had to get used to a lot of things when starting t7. this game here i dont even gonna buy anymore. when they revealed all this and their idea behind it it was very very clear to me, and i was vocal about it for months that if the design the game like that, where is the space and chances to go def, and block? there is nearly no room for it. many things in the game are literally just to easy to press a button and put your enemy in a predicament. like other guys said here: every clown already could spam from tag2 and tekken 7, and now they actually design the games nowadays so you more and more dumb down on the mechanics and the skill aspect. when you got into games years ago you had to grind, understand the mechanics and finetune your skills.
Tekken 8 is not fun at all … it’s frustrating when It’s not about mind game anymore it’s about smashing buttons and eating all the power !! No more iron fist
Its strange how i feel the same way, but disagree. I do feel outplayed by amny characters when they win. Im a very "bully" style player, so I adapted well. BUT there is an issue with the rushdown right now. Much of tekken 8s defense was standing and eating lows to not risk the mids. Defense, while a little more dynamic, still needs to be "buffed" so to speak. Defense is core to any fighting game, and I believe Bamco will give in, but not to the extent the old pros want. Bring defense back or nerf the offense. On a side note, much of the best characters' kits are so well rounded that they can sit and wait or just keep pushing. Azu, Victor, and King all have great defensive options in a heavily offense oriented system. Definitely what makes them busted imo.
