Tom is being true to himself. He probably felt retirement was for him 2 months ago. Then when he actually sat home and got the itch, he wanted back. That's just being true to yourself. So many people regret not making changes in their lives when they're 80. "Oh i wish i didn't do that do, or I wish I signed up for that." Gotta be yourself and make yourself happy. Especially when this decision is not harming anyone. It's his own personal career!

😂 I never considered that. TB12 returning isn't a big deal. Michael Jordan took a break for about 18 months. All of his actions have taken place in the offseason and before the draft. In my opinion Tom Brady has never left the game.

I am a Boston lifer and so thankful for what Brady gave us. I actually emailed Dan and said amen brother. So predictable what Brady did. Let's be clear that Brady only sat out for 40 days so he could try to get to San Francisco. All those stories are coming out now. But Tampa would not acquiesce so he had to come back to Tampa. I'll believe he is playing there when takes his first snap in September. And yes, this is so tiresome.

Don't do that, Skip. Yes, the Bucs were 7-9 the year before Brady arrived, but we all know that was a talented roster. They just needed a Quarterback that takes better care of the football. The NFL season was normal minus the fans but if you think that was an advantage for Brady you are off your rocker. Most NFL players thrive off the crowd. Tom is one of those guys. In road games he would come out to the tunnel early just to listen to the fans trash him to get himself pumped up. The NBA bubble and the 2020 NFL playoffs aren't weren't and were not even close to the same thing.

It's also about contribution and level of skill true, however people are much more willing to "overlook" it when there's a higher level of accomplishment behind the person. Even if Aaron Rodgers is better, it matters less over the course of history. Nobody's gonna remember the small context "Oh look how much Aaron Rodger's contributed" over "How many rings do they have". People aren't going to remember Jay Cutler "should have" beat Ronnie Coleman a few more times. Just that Ronnie Coleman has 8 titles while Jay has 4. Similarly nobody cares that Manny Pacquiao "should have" beaten Mayweather, just that he lost. You can argue "b-but b-but" all you want but the only people who care are those in the moment.

I'm not saying this is wha'ts happening and I don't believe it is.... but imagine if this is all a ruse. Brady was with the owners of the Tampa Bay Bucs shortly before he made the statement he would be returning, Tampa has many very important players who are now free agents and Tampa wants to keep them. What if they talked Brady into un-retiring knowing that would help keep many of those players in Tampa, possibly signing multi-year deals(like Jensen just did after Brady made announcement) and then after several of them are committed to Tampa Brady retires again. What if this is just a ruse to get big names to stay in Tampa at least for the next 2 or 3 years, they know Brady is a huge draw. Or Maybe this is a deal they made with Brady in order to be traded to 49ers or somewhere. BA has said Tampa would never trade Tom away, but what if a deal was made like, ok Tom we'll ok the trade but only if you do this for us, come out of retirement and help us sign as much talent as possible before we announce the trade. Or ... Just kidding, I'm done with the crazy.
